A few horror-stories will be aired, i.e. "Shi Ki" sounds interesting: "During a hot summer in the quiet Sotoba village, bizarre inexplicable deaths begin to happen, and a strange family move into a long abandoned mansion. Hospital Dean Toshio Ozaki is caught up with the investigation between hospital staff and the local residents."

Madhouse jumps on the Zombie-train with "Highschool of the Dead", and A-1 airs a horror comedy called "Occult Academy". The image announcing the story might be taken out of Glernaj's and mknote's Tinn-fantasies...

Then there is some medieval and pseudo-medieval stuff and way too much highschool-sliceoflife-moe.

I'll be keeping an eye on High School of the dead. It should be lulzy and gory.

 

I'll probably watch High School of the Dead and Nurarihyon no Mago. I might watch the Digimon series for the Nostalgia value. Other than those, there isn't anything that looks interesting.

Yeah, but it is an even numbered series (being #6) and Digimon does not have a good track record for even numbered series.

 

High School of the Dead and Sengoku Basara 2 for the lulz, Black Lagoon, Black Rock Shooter, and not much else.

I wish this otaku-power movement thing would end already so the animation companies can get back to making stuff for the rest of us.

Anyway, here is a complete list of stuff that will be released this summer.

 

Kuroshitsuji 2 looks...meh when compared to the first.

I'll probably end up watching it anyway.

 

Out of all those only Occult Academy and Shi Ki look interesting.

Of course I'll check out Mirai Nikki when it's released in september.

Most of this looks Meh. A few exceptions... I forgot about it till this thread, but what I really wanna see is the new Trigun: Badlands Rumble... Came out April 24th, so not really summer, but still looks awesome.
