I enjoyed this episode, Castiel is still amusing surprisingly. Sam was pretty bad ass with the knife too.

We're nearing the end of the 5th season folks!

 

Good episode. Depressing as all hell again, but I get the feeling next week's is going to be worse (And it's the 100th episode too - wow, I've been here from the start. Go me). Prepare your angst-free post-Supernatural activities!

Cas drunk was funny. Sad that he's losing his mind, but still - funny.

 

I liked this episode. But the part at the end really had me scratching my head. Lisa has been gone for how many seasons now? And now Dean abandoned his brother and angel to go and see her? But I guess it was just the idea of a normal family that he was saying goodbye to and how Lisa herself.

And Cas was so awesome tonight. I loved his voicemail message. And calling Sam an abomination was great too!

 

"I found a liquor store."

"And?"

"And, I drank it."

Lol'd. All in all, a good episode; looks like we might finally see Michael again.

 

Looks like Dean is getting ready to say Yes. Though the summary for the next episode indicates otherwise >_<.

 

"Sam, of course, is an abomination..."

Castiel was so the man in this episode. Almost every line out of his mouth made me lol. He remains my favorite character.

I loved how put upon he sounded when he went to get that priest and said "I'm an angel of the lord."

I think God is drawing out all the off-the-reservation angels for a good old fashioned smack-down. By playing absentee father, he's seeing them at their worst. Also, if God is walking the earth, high liklihood that Sam and Dean will meet up with him at some point.

I keep waiting for a hunter to show up as a sorta aging hippie with some mad skills and a Zen line or two. Turns out, he's God.

 

Good episode, loved the whole Whore of Babylon bit, Sam was pretty badass with the knife, Dean was being a whiny bitch and Castiel was hilarious. Looking forward to next week especially Sam locking Dean in the panic room and Castiel beating Dean like a redheaded stepchild in a backalley are going to be epic.

 

Is anyone else tired of everyone insulting John every week? I mean, yeah he'd never get any Father of the Year awards, but he did sacrifice his life to save Dean. He even sold his soul to save him.

Everyone seems to forget all of the good things John has done...

It seems stupid to insult the man every episode.


Dean needs to get over himself and stop being such a whiny bitch. He's still all pissy at Sam for what he did as a kid, wanting his own normal life, etc. I hate how every time someone calls out Dean on something, he turns it around to say Sam did such and such when he was younger.

It was years ago. GET OVER IT, DEAN!

 

Yes John did sacrifice himself to save Dean, but sometimes is seems that he save Dean's life so that he could stop Sam. John figured that he wouldn't be able to do it so he found the next person who could. I'm sure that John loved Dean and wanted to save him, but you have to admit that he was a dick.

 

Good Episode though they are starting to get a bit depressing. I know its the Apocalypse but christ. Dean was annoying with the dad issues, and it seemed odd that his happiest moment is with that chick he dated years ago, saw once recently, and may or may not have had a kid with. I know she said it wasn't his but that seemed odd.

I think the only person who has a decent right to be upset is Castiel. Loved his line "... She's a whore."

 

I liked Yellow Eyes the best. He was the most kick-ass villain I've seen on a tv series for a long time. Castiel annoyed me at first, but I think he's growing on me. Time-travel!Cas was :awesome.

 

What I don't get is all the random coincidences from the begining of the season.
John having some storage locker that corresponded to michaels sword.

The whole glowing necklace sam gave that Bobby some how acquired and said was special but had no idea about when confronted.

I never questioned it because they never amounted to anything in the episodes they were in, but they probably have some mind fuck, deux ex machina moment coming.

 

God... Cas will never fall from my grace.

"You have reached the voicemail of...<I don't get it... why do you want me to say my name?>"

Zacheriah has really gotten me recently though. I really dug how in Supernatural, Angels weren't pussy footing goodygoodies.

His line in this episode, "In heaven my true form has six wings, and four faces; one of them is a lion!" Had me barrelrolling.

 

Especially considering they had that one black chick early on in the first 2 seasons who was "his true love" or something because he told her about hunting. Can't remember the specifics.

 

You mean Cassie. She may have been his true love but her acting (and the episode) was terrible so I can see why they didn't ask her back.

 

Fucking finally Dean stops being a pussy for a while. And Cas was awesome once again, kicking the shit out of Dean and murdering a bunch of angels. Hope he'll be back.

So is Adam the vessel now?

Not sure what to think about next weeks episode, we'll see.
