Is there going to be an official post? This could just be a Ravenclaw ploy to end the fight when we're about to win.

For over six hours, posts are on a crawl. For the last two or so, no posts are made. I go to sleep for exactly four hours, and suddenly there's an explosion of Ravenclaw action T_T

Welcome to Tribal Council
​

Welcome, Hufflepuff, to Tribal Council. As a consequence of losing the last Immunity Challenge, you have been sent here, to this abandoned grotto, to cannibalise one of your own.

Grab a torch and light it in the fire pit. On Survivor, fire represents life. It is what hastens in the dark. Your aim in Survivor: DLP is to keep your torch from being snuffed out by those around you.

This is how Tribal Council will work. Firstly, Hufflepuff, you cannot post in your House QT while Tribal Council is commencing. You will also be given a series of questions which you must answer, in order for Tribal Council to conclude. These questions are designed with observing your performances at the Immunity Challenge and any fractures within your House.

At the end of these questions, you will submit a vote via your private QTs. How you submit a vote is "Vote Out: [PLAYER NAME]". You should also append your vote with a short voting Confessional, which is a sentence or two (or more, if you feel passionate) explaining your reasons/feelings towards your vote.

Also, for this Tribal Council only, Riley Poole has Immunity as the Returnee for Hufflepuff. This is one of two benefits that the Returnees have received. You cannot vote for riley Poole. All other players can be voted against. Furthermore, I strongly encourage all of you to provide good confessionals (doesn't have to be long; good ones can often only be a word or two) for various reasons.


Tribal Council 2 (Dusk 2) has started.

Posting is now permitted in this thread until all Tribal Council questions have been answered. Votes can be submitted once everybody has answered all their allocated questions. If you know that you won't be online at this point, you may submit a vote early, but once a vote is made, it cannot be retracted.

1. Have you heard of the term 'Tribal Switch'? Yes. And what I say is if we do switch, people who "throw" or deliberately lose a Challenge to vote out Hufflepuffs in the new Ravenclaw are idiots. There is no honor in that and Survivor is a numbers game.

2. Why should you be allowed to proceed to Day 3? I contributed wherever I could, ensuring that our "P" word was "Pyrometallurgical" by placing a "Y" after "P" and helping to set up longer words like "Oceanographically" and "Magnanimousness". While I was definitely not the biggest contributor to this challenge, I feel that I was certainly not the worst.

3. Do you think Hufflepuff is currently a cohesive House? Reasonably so, yes.

4. Are you in an Alliance? Alliances are important and a feature of any decent player's game.

5. What are your thoughts on who Ravenclaw eliminated at their last Tribal Council? Extremely surprising.

6. Do you have anything else you'd like to say to the rest of Hufflepuff? Although I'm thinking about voting for Prophylaxis, because he contributed the least, I'm happy to vote for whoever the rest of you guys want me to vote for. The people to whom this message is addressed, you guys know who you are.

No, but I assume it has to do with the two tribes switching some members for a challenge.
2. Why should you be allowed to proceed to Day 3?
Because my contribution has been consistent in both challenges so far.
3. Do you think Hufflepuff is currently a cohesive House?
It is. Although many of us (majorly including me) herped and derped, I will have to put at least part of the blame in sloppy Challenge design. There a dozen ways in which all this clusterfuck could have been avoided.
There are, however, some people who are not participating at all in House affairs. The rest are pretty cohesive, all in all. There was one person in particular who managed to somehow have negative contribution to the second challenge.
4. Are you in an Alliance?
Answering that would defeat the purpose of an Alliance.
5. What are your thoughts on who Ravenclaw eliminated at their last Tribal Council?
Basic Day 1 elimination. Didn't participate much, couldn't adequately bullshit himself out of being kicked out at Night Phase, got the boot.
6. Do you have anything else you'd like to say to the rest of Hufflepuff?
There are some who do not seem to understand that Hufflepuff is the House of hard-work. Slackers will not be tolerated.

I didn't contribute as much as some, but I definitely wasn't the worst of our team. Through personal matters I wasn't really allowed to "show up" for this game, and I'm sorry for that. But I know that if allowed to continue to Day 3 I'll work as hard as I can.
3. Do you think Hufflepuff is currently a cohesive House?
I'd say yes, we're fairly cohesive.
4. Are you in an Alliance?
They're the point of the game, aren't they?
5. What are your thoughts on who Ravenclaw eliminated at their last Tribal Council?
Definitely surprising.
6. Do you have anything else you'd like to say to the rest of Hufflepuff?
I think that we're a good team that just stumbled a bit during this challenge, and I think that as a whole we don't have many problems to address. Odd hours threw us off, but I think that for Day 3 we'll come out strong and swinging.

Due to personal matters I do not have time to invest in this game - I tried requesting replacement, but I can't really be replaced. I would be fine with being eliminated, as I only contributed one letter to the previous challenge.

Yes.

Not too surprising.

I feel that I've contributed at least fairly to our House's goals so far, albeit with a couple of snafus in this latest challenge.

On the whole, yes. Some issues in real life have held us all back a little, sleep included.
4. Are you in an Alliance?
Formerly. I consider that bridge burned after a certain somebody failed to inform me of their intention to back out of the game. I won't be taking anyone at face-value any more from here.
5. What are your thoughts on who Ravenclaw eliminated at their last Tribal Council?
Not at all who I expected to see turn up.
6. Do you have anything else you'd like to say to the rest of Hufflepuff?
We've proven we're all hard workers, if some needing a bit more encouragement than others, so no matter who is voted off tonight, I know Hufflepuff House will stand strong and overcome any adversity to come.
