I’m grateful that we’ve only had one member who wasn’t as excited as the rest of us are about this game. I do wish he'd been magnanimous enough to share that information with the rest of us. You wanted to leave? You got it.

1. Have you heard of the term 'Tribal Switch'?
The Tribal Switch is the single individual out of the eight of us who is able to both dominate and submit in the bedroom. I don't know who they are, but their filthy, disgusting flexibility makes me sick.
For realz, though, it's when people get sent to the other team. It's why I inserted remotely-detontatable explosives into the anus of everyone in my House. Hufflepuffs leave in bodybags or not at all.

2. Why should you be allowed to proceed to Day 3?
The only challenge I have been allowed to participate in, I pulled pretty hard. I notified my team that I'd be unable to participate yesterday and they benched me by my request. I'm ready to come back and consume the flesh of my foes.

3. Do you think Hufflepuff is currently a cohesive House?
Yes. We have the strength of a thousand womyn. We shall destroy those book-lovers. Their bodies are ours to claim and ravish.

Am I a lion? I don't think of myself as a lion. Might as well, though. I have a mighty roar.

They have one less meatpuppet. All the better to destroy them.

Hufflepuffs, we hold these truths to be self evident that all Ravenclaws are created inferior. That they are poorly endowed by their creators, and are aliens with no rights. They will be robbed of life, liberty, and happiness alike. To secure their destruction, Hufflepuffs are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from their natural superiority.

Once again, Immunity is back up for grabs

Welcome back, castaways, to the Immunity Challenge. Before we start, Ravenclaw, I'll be collecting your Immunity Statue. And thus, the Statue and Immunity is back up for grabs.

Now, how many of you have read the Tree Mail? Tree Mail is normally quite informative, hinting of future events to come. Your last Tree Mails read something like this, I believe:

"Shall we play a game?"

Many of you predicted that this will be related to the film WarGames, specifically a challenge involving global thermonuclear war or Checkers. You are correct... and incorrect. The Challenge is related to WarGames and Tree Mail never lies...

Today's Immunity Challenge is another puzzle, ChessGames. For this Challenge, you will compete as your two Houses and will be playing, you guessed it - Chess. As the last line of the film is "how about a nice game of chess", it is indeed related to WarGames and should be quite different from the previous two challenges. You will go to this link: http://www.sparkchess.com/

And play any Claire (Medium) level game you wish, as black or white.

For this Challenge, your House QTs will not be disabled so you may use it during this Challenge. You will have 14 hours for this Challenge. As many or as few of you can participate in this Challenge.

After you have completed and won a game against Claire, you will screenshot the final layout of the Chess Board and send it to "oddfictionrambles@gmail.com" along with a log of the moves: the log of the moves can be obtained in the top right hand corner.

The player who beats Claire with the shortest amount of moves will win the Immunity Challenge for their Tribe. Losers will go to Tribal Council, where one of you will be sent to Redemption Island. You may submit multiple attempts.

Also, due to an unforeseen administrative error, Lexicat got access to Vesvius's private QT. Before she could access any of Vesvius's other QTs, I have disabled and deleted all posts from that QT, and I encourage Vesvius to do the same. The Survivor Team deeply apologises for this inconvenience and for this reason, Vesvius has been given a new QT and a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol, to compensate for the unfair disadvantage he's been placed within.

Although Lexicat has received an unfair advantage and access to information, I have consulted and decided not to expel her from the game. Despite the situation, she won't be penalised and has proven to have no access to any other Vesvius QTs. Once again, I apologise for any inconveniences that this situation has caused.

Welcome to Tribal Council

Welcome, Hufflepuff, to Tribal Council. As a consequence of losing the last Immunity Challenge, you have been sent here, to this abandoned grotto, to cannibalise one of your own.

Grab a torch and light it in the fire pit. On Survivor, fire represents life. It is what hastens in the dark. Your aim in Survivor: DLP is to keep your torch from being snuffed out by those around you.

This is how Tribal Council will work. Firstly, Hufflepuff, you cannot post in your House QT while Tribal Council is commencing. You will also be given a series of questions which you must answer, in order for Tribal Council to conclude. These questions are designed with observing your performances at the Immunity Challenge and any fractures within your House.

At the end of these questions, you will submit a vote via your private QTs. How you submit a vote is "Vote Out: [PLAYER NAME]". You should also append your vote with a short voting Confessional, which is a sentence or two (or more, if you feel passionate) explaining your vote.


Tribal Council 3 (Dusk 3) has started.

Posting is now permitted in this thread until all Tribal Council questions have been answered. Votes can be submitted once everybody has answered all their allocated questions. If you know that you won't be online at this point, you may submit a vote early, but once a vote is made, it cannot be retracted. Please read last challenge post. You only had 14 hours for this particular challenge because it's one of intelligence, not endurance. If you can't neat Claire the first three times, you won't ve able to do it at all.

No, it doesn't sound fair at all. Why only once, and why only those who havent submitted? Where is any of this in the original challenge post? Weren't we supposed to be able to submit as many attempts as we wanted?
The fact that we probably won't get below nine moves doesn't mean that this is okay, or fair. Open the challenge again to everyone, including Ravenclaw.
