So I finally have some form of stable internet after one whole day in the airport. Lemme smoke some random buff up now.

 

Finally going to have some time to try this.

I tried, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to do rotate anything other than 90/180 degrees, hence had to use a less manly option.

 

I haven't been able to touch a computer all day and won't be home for at least another 2 hours. I might not do very well this challenge.

Really? Damn. Oh well, I probably wasn't going to win this challenge anyways- my design was pretty minimal.

 

I didn't have time to get anything done so i'm feeling pretty confident I got this one in the bag.

Six contestants have submitted buffs for the appraisal of the Mysterious Three. Some say they are older than the oldest tree on this island, and communicate in much the same fashion. All we know is that they have a discerning eye for creative, catchy Buffs, and minimal interest in the petty conflicts of castaways. And they're not called The Stig.

The people who have tried their hand at creating a Buff stand before The Three;
Turtwig, Republic21, Rayn, mishie, Vesvius, and Schrodinger.

"Our criteria are simple; First, a strong representation of community. Your designs must represent your fellow castaways, their names and spirits. Second, aesthetics. And third, the feel. Each element is considered equally, for a truly strong symbol must embody each of these three aspects."

A withered hand points to each castaway in turn.

"Turtwig, your strength lies in your commitment to upholding the community. In your entry, each name and face stand as pillars."

"Vesvius, your strength lies in the epic feeling and your decision to actually research what a Buff should look like."

"Rayn, your strength lies in your creativity and art."

Congratulations, Vesvius. For the rest of you, better luck next time. Congratulations, Vesvius. Well done to everyone who entered. A few of you, notably Turtwig and Republic21, came quite close but the Mysterious Three had to award the one contestant who researched Buff designs. Feel free to post your designs in this thread!


Night 7 has started.

Night will not end until all Night actions are submitted. You have a maximum of 24 hours to submit them, or else incur the wroth of the Purple Rock Tiebreaker.

The night will continue for 24 Hours. You may request 1-on-1 QTs with anybody left in the game, as you are now all one House. Also, as there are no more House QTs, feel free to post in this thread during the Night.

At Night, you may also know begin 1-on-1 QTs with your fellow Housemates. Request which players (via private QT) with which you wish to communicate, and I will organise it for you. If you wish to have a group conversation, I recommend you either hold it in your House QT or you convey your messages to all players involved in the convo via your 1-on-1 QTs at the same time.

This may be finnicky, but the whole point of 1-on-1 QTs is to give some opportunity for individual manoeuvring, although alliances with multiple players are definitely encouraged.


Apart from Zeitgeist, only the following (10) individuals are allowed to participate:

Asterisk (*) indicates that the person is wearing the Individual Immunity Necklace and thus cannot be voted for at the next Tribal Council.

I did actually research what a Buff should look like, but I assumed that you wanted us to literally use the OP image as a base for it.

Is there some way we can see the images, Zeit?

See, this confused me.

 

If you want others to see your buff, feel free to put it up here. The Mysterious Three marked equally using the criterion:

A.) including other players' names + Survivor Avatars in the Buff Artwork,
B.) Aesthetic Appeal/Effort
C.) Humour and/or Evoking an Epic Feeling.

Your Buff, Republic21, fell down on criteria C and was a little too simple for the Three's tastes. The Mysterious Three will reveal themselves at the conclusion of this game.

 

I get that. Eh, well.
