They are admittedly quite talented, especially the guy who choreographed it.

Diversity were amazing, though I cant work out if they were better than Flawless.

I thought Flawless were very good technically, but Diversity absolutely kicked the shit out of them creatively.

I love the Adagio for Strings being played throughout much of the video.

Anyway, there's another singing phenomenon about every other week.

After tonight, I know who I want to win.

    Jamie Pugh

This guy is so modest and humble and yet so fucking amazing, its ridiculous.

Well, he certainly was humble and pretty good, but I wouldn't call him quite amazing.

Considering he hasn't got the public appeal that e.g. Susan Boyle has, he's probably not going to win this thing.

Although I have to somewhat agree with Magus' link.

Been watching the final for the last hour or so. I still reckon Susan Boyle's gonna win it but does anyone else have an opinion on it?

2 Grand could have been brilliant if the grandfather sang well, they were solely relying on the granddaughter's talent to pull themselves through but that ain't good enough.

Diversity was awesome too. Ten times better than Flawless in my opinion.

Boyle is all novelty, Diversity is raw talent. I mean come on, any fucker can sing with some training, but it takes mad skills to pull of dance routines like that.

I laughed an impressive belly-laugh upon hearing her younger self being described as attractive.

Somethings don't change, even over 25 years.

I've got to say that this year the competitions pretty close.

I reckon Flawless and Diversity were on even footing until tonight (the final) until Diversity pulled of some pretty awesome moves. And I can imagine hem easily winning if it wasnt for the publicity Boyle's had. Which a shame actually, seeing as she hasn't been in my top 5 list of this year's contestants.

Yeah, she's built up a cult of personality that's giving her a boost in popularity solely because she isn't the most attractive person in the world (to put it nicely).

I do think Diversity should win it too, even though I dislike the music they've used and that style of dancing in general. They have a lot of talent to be able to do that and they deserve to win because of it.

Yeah, if it were down to me Susan Boyle would have crashed out in the semi's.

Diversity, Flawless and Shaheen are my favs.

Wasn't expecting Julian Smith, but the other two were pretty much given. I'm still expecting Boyle to win it but I can hope that Diversity will get it.

    DIVERSITY WON.

Unexpected but awesome. Susan Boyle didn't want to win me thinks.

    Fuck yeah Diversity won it!

Stavros Flatley went up but they weren't as good as in their first performance.

Still, I am genuinely surprised that the British public picked Diversity over Susan Boyle. The sympathy vote normally takes precedence over everything else but this time... I'm impressed.

rofl, I finally found a stream right when the winners were being called.

Diversity kicked some major ass. I can't wait to see their final once it is posted on youtube

When my stream wasn't crapping out on me, it did look kind of like Susan didn't want to win. Though that could have been the poor quality of the feed.

Hasn't Simon already signed Susan to a deal anyway?

Somewhere in the region of 18 million people in the UK watched this. This news depressed me far more than any of the other highlights from the daily rigmarole of depressing and horrifying news stories on the BBC News front page.
