I've recently installed Teamspeak 3.0, and got a headset which connects through the headphone/microphone ports to go along with it. But whenever I use Teamspeak, it takes control of the headphones and only plays it's audio, leaving any other noise to play through the speakers.

This is pretty annoying since I can't hear the game I'm playing, or listen to music or do anything else involving audio if I want to be able to be on Teamspeak as well. So far the only solution I've found is just disabling the speaker device on my laptop and letting it all go through the only remaining audio option of the headphones, but its a pretty annoying and temporary fix and I'd much rather fix it permanently.

    Any ideas?

Did you set the headset as the default speakers in Windows? If not, then that's most likely the problem.
