Xiph just linked me, and I must say, I agree with his sentiments. It was a good one shot, but nothing mind blowing. It wasn't scary at all, in my opinion. But making something scary in writing is hard though. I mean, how is Voldemort about to rape some woman scary? The branches cut her and took off her clothes...ZOMG THAT'S FREAKY!

Meh, this story should really be more of the General type, with slight darkish undertones, given that Harry still seems to be mostly pure, but with some darkness in him from Voldemort.

I give it a 3.5/5.

 

Oh, very nice, definately a 5/5 in my opinion. I'm off to read other works by this fine author now.

I really liked the contrast between a young, innocent, clueless Harry and the terror inspiring picture he paints. Having the teacher there to witness it and then think she is imagining things makes it all the more poignant, because we know that she probably isn't.

Damn, nice work. It's not a horror story really, and I'm not judging it on that criteria. Honestly I'm not sure what category other than general to give this, but I do know that I enjoyed it enough to give it full marks. I agree with Darth that it was somewhat like a glimpse into a young, innocent mind that is renting out space to one hell of an evil mind.

Also, I've just realized that no one has posted here in bloody ages. Debating just erasing this and not posting, but as I've already written it I expect I won't do that.
