Swing and a miss on this episode. Too much symbolism, too little storytelling. Five seconds of Summer in her underwear doesn't make up for that.

Honestly, they lost me in the opening scene. I can't think of anyone less likely to voluntarily check herself into any kind of medical institution than Sarah Connor, so I lost my suspension of disbelief right there.

This would have worked better as two separate episodes, one with Sarah being tortured by the guard while her family tries to find and save her, and another where she checks into a sleep clinic undercover (no pun), to find out if it's a Skynet experiment.

 

The show needs some more Terminators.

The loss of Cromartie seems to have taken out a huge amount of real action. Not to mention all the dry humor they provide D:

My favorite part might have been how they worked Sarah's insecurities about Cameron into the dream side of the story.

Cameron making John pancakes and him liking hers more, Cameron walking around in her bra and panties while John is talking to her on the phone, Cameron giving her a smirky little look behind John's back, etc.

Not to mention the evil "doctor" using Cameron's "thank you for explaining" line.

The humor was subtle, but it was there.

I was taking to Jon about this yesterday. If Sarah really fears all this stuff, what's the actual reality of it? It's pretty interesting to think about, especially considering we haven't really seen much John and Cameron in the past three episodes.

 

Riley may be dead. Cameron does more mind fuck stuff with John including wanting some John time to fix her arm after killing that pigeon.

Nice low Sarah episode although I'm still not sure if they know Riley was from the future even though we do from what was said. between Sarah and Rileys foster dad.

NEED to see some more John Henry which I hope we will soon as the season is coming to an end soon

 

Lol at the medallion chip explosive Cameron gave John, you could tell that when she put it on him he just wanted to go "OMGCOLDLOL."

Thank god they finally got back to telling the main story. All the Sarah-angst shit was bringing me down.

I really need to get back to Nintendo. They're finally starting to touch on stuff I was planning to deal with there.

 

I'm curious as to what's happening to Cameron. Something's fucked up inside there.

 

Well, as near as I can tell, John never actually "fixed" her after the season two opener. He just kinda rebooted her and hoped for the best.

 

From what I understand, Cameron is rewriting her program and developing emotions. I see evidence in this when that scene, shown through her eyes, where she has the directive "Terminate" when she looks at John, then there is the "Override" command.

 

It was a great episode because we stopped looking at Sarah's fucked up psyche and things started happening again. The death of Riley is something I've been anticipating for a long time. I thought Jessie was gonna be the one to kill her, glad I was right. IGN gave a report that the last episodes of the season were going to focus on John and Cameron and that the show creator showed a montage of the last 6 episodes and it ended with

Thank fucking god she died. Seriously. Jesse's plan was interesting, have Cameron kill Riley so John hates Cameron. But seriously get the fuck on with the story.

 

New episode was clawsome.

Moar John Henry getting out of control. T-1001 looked like a total MILF. John and Cameron had more contact and Sarah isn't happy. Also, the mission of Jesse's is awesome. The terminator and the two endo's looked fucking mean as shit. Didn't expect them to be around the corner. Expected to see a terminator we have seen or what was in the basement that Derek saw. The 888 sub captain is lulzy. Black terminator ftw.

 

The sub captain was epic. I first thought he had reverted when the sub started shaking, and again when the crew realized they were way off course.

Wut? She's the most inhuman person I've ever seen in my entire life. She's beyond strange looking.

 

Watch her at the begining when she's 'working' hawt.
