    Cancelled.

Not a total shock, and frankly it's a little hard to blame FOX on this one. They really did give TSCC every chance, and I still believe the audience was there (it was the biggest FOX premiere in nearly a decade), but the writers and producers made a lot of strategic errors in how they plotted it, most noticeably the slow pace, lack of humor, and turning John Connor into an eyeliner wearing emo.

Still, it got 32 episodes. What would we have given for that many eps of Firefly?

But it was Just getting good too.

Why does Fox Hate Summer Glau? She Makes Shows Awesome but then they cancell it just when the fans are at the edge of their seats!

The Curse of Glau has Struck Again!

Although the last couple of episodes had been pretty awesome, the middle had undeniably dragged. Still, once I'd read that Dollhouse had been renewed, I had been hoping for similar mercies to be granted to this. Alas.

Batting .500 with shows I wanted back. Could be worse. I honestly only expected Castle to get renewed. Dollhouse is a bonus.

Like I said before, I blame the producers more than I blame FOX this time. They just made the show too damned Twin Peak-ish, instead of sticking to good old-fashioned action adventure, with a little bit of awkward romance and humor to keep things in balance. What really surprises me though is that Warner Bros. wasn't able to find another network to take it on. I figured that with the movie coming out, Sci-Fi or FX or some other cable network would take advantage of the tie-in and at least give it another 13 episodes to see what would happen. Maybe they just couldn't make the money work.

On the bright side, it ended at a great point for fanfiction. :awesome

And as a bonus, they won't steal your ideas anymore.

Personally I felt it dragged a little when they had John trying to deny simple facts that he is and always was a part of the war against Skynet. All his bitching for a normal life turned me off.

I did like the Riley subplot, given that she was sent from the future to turn John away from Cameron. But that could have been handled better and with more subtle cues and sly writing.

But I hate that just when the show jumped to the Future War, it got cut. I love the future war. Oh well, that's up to Terminator Salvation to show me...

I still think this entire series was meant to generate interest for Terminator: Salvation.

They are really starting to annoy me. I watch very few shows and the ones I do watch seem to get canned. Dexter is the only on-going show I have been watching that is left.
To be honest, I thought they'd at least renew the series for half a season, just to see if the movie could help boost the ratings then go from there.

What a cunt way to end, as well. This reminds me of when Farscape was canceled, though not as bad as that. That show was at it's peak. God damn.
Pretty much, though I didn't want a new terminator busting down the door every week. That would just be lame.

I don't think I'm going to start watching any shows until they have at least three seasons under their belt from now on. This shit is getting irritating.
