.... so many things wrong with that sentence Giz. I wasn't doing a shaft, mine was just kinda a long sloping descent. Will be restarting soon since I have corruption like riiiiiiiiiiight outside my starting area, and massive excavations have revealed fuck all around me.

 

So I have pretty much everything I wanted out of the game's gear now. Going to need to start finding things to do other than kill bosses and get hellstone, because that won't last much longer.

 

I dug down to the hell imp level and got pwnd in my iron gear. I had to go look for shadow orbs to kill for some metorite, I\ve killed the eater of worlds once (died like 40 times) and gotten killed by the gorram eye 3 times (too far away from my base to kill me right as I respawn though).

I have 3 stacks of copper and 2 stacks of iron, is there anything I can do with it now that I don\t use the gear? or do I just sell it for gold?

We should get a DLP server going, that\d be nice. Playing solo gets lonely after a while.

 

Bought it. Cant get townsfolk to move in for shit though. rooms 5hx8w, table, chair, light source, background walls. Foreground walls made of stone or wood, they ain't sowing up. What gives?

 

Some questions:

1) Do they have a door?
2) Do they share a vertical wall (as in, are they right next to each other horizontally with a 1w wall separating them?)
3) Have you fulfilled the conditions for them joining?

 

1+2 yes. 3 dunno.

 

#2's probably your problem. For whatever reason, they can't share a vertical wall. Try making the wall two wide instead.

My world. I spent awhile on my mine shaft and thought I was near the bottom. It's the purple lookin building under the 2 floating islands. Save it and zoom in, the image is freaking massive.

No dungeon. I'm still putting together a copper suit of armor. I have shit for luck for finding deposits. Thats why I made the map of my world to help, but I havent played it yet.

 

You may have made a mistake making a large world. Apparently large worlds are basically there for, well, large groups of people. Small is pretty perfect for <4 people.

(I made a medium sized world and kinda regretted it).

Fucking RNG. I have five high-jump balloons, but not a single cloud in a bottle (I have rocket boots, but damn it I want a cloud too).

 

Yeah I'm going to rip down my castle and make a new small world. I like that the items carry over from world to world.

 

Is there anyway of getting Terraria without Steam? Im going to my cousins wedding on Sunday and its a 4hr journey and no internet access. If I recall correctly no internet access = no access to any of your games on Steam, right?

 

There seems to be an Offline Mode (I've never used it though).

 

Fuck it requires you to connect to the internet at least once and I was planning on doing it on my company laptop without them finding out. Ah well.
