Well I bought it a while ago and im loving it but im getting raped by the randomness of the pots. I want some shuriken ;.; and other cool shit.

Also doesn anyone need some help dealing with a meterorite strike? I can hold off some of enemies if you promise to split me some of the loot :3

You might want to read up on the NPC system Kang. If you have 50 silver, and space for an NPC, a Merchant will appear who sells Shurikens for pretty cheap. 50 silver isn't to hard to get either.

I've taken it slow and have restarted about a million times(I'm a perfectionist who even thought about running some hardcore Terraria where one death means restart.) so I'm only at the corruption part of the game, so I'm not at meteors yet.

 

I'll be up for some multiplayer. I probably have better gear than you guys but I can make a new character.

 

I do one of two thing to mine meteorites.

Sometimes, I'll simply get all three of the meteor heads in front of me so they endlessly bounce off my pick, occasionally having me need to maneuver a new one there. It's not terrible, and much easier than just killing them.

But what I usually do is pull out my good ol' trusty dynamite and blow that shit up. So much more simple, and once there's less then 50 blocks remaining, they stop spawning.

Bit of a necro, but relevant.

Version 1.1 was released yesterday, with a slew of new ores, craftables and monsters.

Has anyone had the chance to check it out yet?

 

Picked it up today, loving it so far. Anybody for a multiplayer game?

 

So much amazing new stuff in the 1.1 update. Wyverns are now ridiculously buff, there's the Wall of Flesh boss in the hell zone, hard-mode updates for the old bosses, new items, a wiring/trap/electricity system...

 

So yeah... I managed to kill the wall of flesh, but you know what hands me my ass every time? Wyverns. Goddamn but they HURT.

Edit: Seriously, FUCK the wyvern. Fuck it.

 

Sort-of-necro, but curious: Is there any DLP server, or at least any servere where DLP congregates?

Especially after the Winter Sales/Secret Santa, think there'll be at least a few more people playing.

 

I'm playing. I don't know about any server, though. Haven't played any multiplayer, yet.

Side note: Booya! Just killed Skeletron Prime. All hardmode bosses have fallen to my power!

 

Nice. I need to get back into playing it, will probably wait until I'm back out of town for awhile before I get around to it though.
