It's the OP build in all Elder Scrolls games. Stealth grants damage modifiers, which combines with archery means you can kill most enemies before they ever get close.

Plus Skyrim added in the occasional killcam where the camera follows the arrow. Extra tasty when you're sneaking and the arrow lands in someone's eye.

Decided that instead of taking the long way around to the mountains near Solitude, I'd take the direct route and cross the planes of Whiterun. Saw a giant camp and wandered over to discover it because hell yeah when suddenly, they turn violent.

The last thing I saw as I flew into the stratosphere was Faendal hiding a bow behind his back and looking guilty.

    Fucking Faendal.

If you want an amazing build. Do Stealth Archer and get your shout time recovery as quick as possible.

Shout slow time and then range everything

My favourite build for Skyrim is the Bosmer stealth archer, but I've recently started playing a Nord 1h and shield melee fighter.

I'm role playing that they love everything Dwemer to force myself to explore the ruins.

Full Daedric armor equipped, enchanted of-course, with destruction magic leveled straight up, and a one-handed weapon in the other, enchanted once again. There you have it, Daedric armor giving you the protection you need to fight against multiple enemies, a mace to rely on when your magicka runs out, and of-course, destruction magic that destroys the enemies when timed properly with an enchanted 'Daedric Bow of Thunderbolts' for long range.

    Sound play style for me.

    Otherwise know as, "The Sauron."

My Celtic warrior is coming along nicely. Along the way he's discovered he has quite the passion for alchemy, a skill he never thought he'd enjoy or have any use for.

He and Faendal shared in many adventures, often dodging the wrath of unassuming NPCs who Faendal had inadvertently rained spiky death upon and generally having a ball.

One day though, on the road from the rift to Whiterun, our intrepid adventurers come across a band of Thalmor Justiciars escorting a bound prisoner.

    Well this just wasn't on.

The boys sprang into action and brought their full fury down in the elven bastards. Fionn the Celt was a blur of steel while Faendal was nimbly dodging everything that came at him.

In the end, Fionn stood amongst a group of elven corpses, bathed in their blood and breathing heavily.

    Wait, where's Faendal?

    Faendal??

    FAENDAL???

(Insert picture of dead elf, staring at the gods in betrayal.)

    Fucking Faendal.

My preferred race to play is Argonian. The only character I ever played though was a Breton in Oblivion. With his slow descent into madness going through the Guilds the way you would going that way. Mage, Fighter, Thieves, Dark Brotherhood, and then trying to redeem himself with Knights of the 9.

Of course by the time he finished Dark Brotherhood he was still completely insane wandering around with 100% Chameleon and killing things with an Iron Mace because it took longer. Regained enough sanity to start using Daedric when doing Knights of the 9.

The single most apt character ever for finishing Shivering Isles that I've ever seen. Cuckoo for cocoa puffs that one.

I once played a martial artist build. No spells or weapons whatsoever, no armor except metal gauntlets, no shouting except when the story required it, and only Fists of Steel and Fortify Unarmed to boost my damage.

Was it hard at times? Absolutely. On Legendary, with almost no armor, you die in like three hits. Takes so much dodging and saving to survive.

Was it worth it? I punched a dragon to death.

I usually like to play the redguard race that no one else ever seems to play. I generally go with two handed weapons and heavy armor. On a side note if I ever play as a Mage I really can't get myself to ever choose a race other than khaajit for some reason.

I started a character a couple of months ago while drunk, an argonian named Burrito, and I meant for it to be my joke account.

And then I accidently deleted my main character.

Now I'm stuck with Burrito. sigh

Started a new character last night, Griphook the Orc mercenary. Primarily a two-hander specialist, although melee of any sort is good, and with little in the way of magical ability - some basic healing and alchemy will be the limit. Some basic smithing skill, but I see him becoming good friends with the smith at the Companions, who he's joining in a bid for purpose in life after a few too many jobs gone south in Cyrodil.

Which will be complicated by the fact he holds a grudge, and he's not going to forget the Imperials trying to execute him for no good reason - he might not be welcome in Whiterun for very long, as I'll have him join the Storm cloaks.

Other than that, his main trait will be a passion for food, learned after too many nights at campfires with only dry bread and ale.

I'm having a lot of fun with him, largely because the kill cams are a lot more brutal when you're smashing someone in the face with a hammer than with a sword.

I usually go through phases with my characters:

level 1-15: I'll start out as a thief/archer focusing more on stealth

    level 16-25: Everyting magic

    level 26->: One handed tank

So I recently opened my desktop and saw that I had two to three unopened archived mods for Skyrim. Click on them and install them, go into Skyrim and BAM!

    Become an Uchiha.

There's this extremely well developed mod for Skyrim that adds shit like the Sharingan evolving through your kills and all, the various paths i.e. Shisui, Itachi, Madara, Obito, Sasuke, which basically give you the character's Mangekyō powers.

The Mangekyō Sharingan activates when you've lost either a follower or very close friend during battle, or have killed them yourself.

Then there is the Rinnegan and all... so you can guess what awesomeness lies ahead.

Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei, Bansho Tenin and Tengai Shinsei and more!

Anyways, though this mod doesn't make you invincible, it does make you somewhat of a monster in the game. You don't exactly stomp Giants and Dragons, but you can definitely off tens of bandits without truly getting down.

This relies on the Naruto mod, which goddamn includes Sage Mode, The Eight Gates and even Kyuubi mode! Includes things like Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and on the Uchiha Clan mod, Su'sanoo.

Uchiha Clan mod available here on Nexus.

Naruto Overhaul mod (WHICH IS NECESSARY) is available here on Steam.

BEAR IN MIND THAT THE UCHIHA CLAN MOD NEEDS DAWNGUARD ADD-ON

Two more mods I found worthy of mention are these:

The Skyrim School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that adds- you guessed it- a Hogwarts-esque school in Skyrim!

This mod alone offers four new abodes for the player, i.e. the Gryffindor (Red), Hufflepuff (Yellow), Ravenclaw (Blue) and, my favorite, Slytherin (Green) towers into the school alongside various classrooms with Professors that are somewhat similarly named to the actual professors that sell spell tomes at somewhat high prices.

Besides the actual school, this adds whole new fields of magic into the game! Blood magic, wards, charms, offensive and defensive spells and the like alongside a whole bombing spells field!

As an added bonus it adds robes into the game that signify the four towers all with their emblems stitched onto them.

Download this mod on Nexus here

The second mod is something that is amazing to watch and play with:

If you're trying to make a Harry Potter mod, ya fucking need wands.

This mod, through the aid of SKSE, a script extending tool, incorporates various wood wands that offer 8 spells. One wand, eight spells:

    The spells include:
    • Firebolt
    • Fire- stream
    • Ice spike
    • Ice stream
    • Pushing charm (Expulso)
    • Disarming charm (Expelliarmus)
    • Lightning bolt
    • Sparks

The mod itself is here hosted at Nexus.

The second mod requires SKSE, so please download that at this site:

A simple way to download SKSE is shown here.

Put my Orc aside for the moment - having become Harbinger and brought down the Empire in Skyrim, I've had enough of that playstyle for the moment.

Currently playing through as a female Breton Mage. Roleplaying her as friend to all, and working as an alchemist/enchanter to put herself through Winterhold. Two smaller facts related to other characters have come up of their own accord though.

    1. Lydia hates her, as evidenced by her line "I'm so glad we're friends, I've got a gift for you!" *Ragged Robes Received"
    2. She hates the Librarian at Winterhold. "Get this book for me." "Sure thing!" *finds herself in a three area cave filled to the brim with saber cats, Falmer and Chaurus with only a couple of apprentice level spells to get me through* "Here you go!" "Oh, thanks! Here's some gold for your trouble." *30 gold received*

The announcement of the Skyrim Special Edition has reminded me that Skyrim is still a thing, and as such I've started playing it again. I've got about one hundred mods installed, including PerMa and MorrowLoot (I can't play Slyrim if it isn't unlevelled. I like my games old school RPG style).

I've just started a play through as a Necromancer and I intend to complete the game without having to swing a sword once. I shall rely on my undead horde and by the end game I intend to be an immortal Lich thanks to the Undeath mod. I've never done a play through like this, I usually just play as an assassin or thief or some other boring character, so here's hoping that everything goes well.

I remember having a blast as an indestructible tank. I always gravitate toward pure warrior types, with a few utility spells and little to no sneaky stuff. And Skyrim always seemed a bit, uh, "here's twenty-five cosmetically and culturally distinct races but be a Nord, noob" so I rarely go Nord. Orcs make better pure warriors anyway. Heavy armor, sword and board, with personally smithed and enchanted equipment. Legate of the Imperial Legion, Harbinger of the Companions, and being courted by the Thieve's Guild every time he wanders through Riften for some reason.

My PC is out of sorts for the forseeable future, so I may recreate him when Skyrim hits the PS4.
