Kind of tempted to just lock Eido in here as town and then cop the humiliation if I'm wrong and he's scum here, his reads/thoughts/reasoning behind all of his reads and areas he's looking at just fits so well in a way I don't think he could as scum and his reasoning behind his read on me in particularly comes across as genuine.

I'll get some things I Need Done and then get around to reading the Bears/Citrus/Jan/Nego/NH pool of players.

I'll admit to not really knowing what to do with Kai. I still don't super like how it felt like he got Day 1 off and his longer post today felt rather non-spicy to me. Maybe someone else can describe "Kai-ish" to me since I see him moving up and want to understand that too.

Nego's down there because I think their VCA post has some narrow foci I can't get over, and might be colored by that potential w/w thing I just looked into with Citrus. They need to bring the receipts on their process today.

MP7 is someone else who needs to bring receipts (as I type this for a second time, is this a phrase? I saw it one time and am really fixated on it right now), but I'm letting my previous town lean linger a bit owing to his real life concerns.

I've gotten a little concerned my Stanari townread isn't actually for good reasons and I was assigning too much value to things like relative self-awareness and vaguely thinking we saw the game in similar ways when it wasn't actually clear from our conversation, so she's off in her own category.

fonti's also in a weird place from nailing fen to the wall in a way that I read as hard not w/w before, but doesn't matter now. I think I still feel okay about that? We also talked out a Miner read which I think we share, so that's something.

 

This kind of strikes me as posting to post. I don't like that you don't talk about the read/your issue with it/or even like... the name associated with it in your memory, if it stood out enough to warrant going back to it.

As far as this point/discussion... I'd push on Voxx as a wolf in the future because he's significantly less effective on the defensive d1 as evidenced by the champs final and by his own admission afterward. I think he's too used to people giving him a lot of space and if he's like me, tends to village read people pushing on him d1 when it's exceedingly unlikely to result in anything.

@Vaimes - I'm semi-around, finishing up dinner and then going to start reading into the players I need to. If you want to discuss anything in particular I'm more than willing to; as for the "Scum are avoiding pressure/focus on Nego", eh that's possible and would make some sense given I'm looking at worlds where a) Nego is scum OR b) Bears is scum and don't think it's likely they're both scum here, so in a) could see some of the Bears voters doing that? Think Empoof can fit as scum with both worlds of a) and b) at the moment. Mod comes into the thread and confirms Newcomb/Stanari/Eido/Me as town, how does that impact your reads/thoughts here?

I'm reading your posts (And will be rereading your predecessor & yourself later), just haven't really liked your catch up posting thus far and think waiting for you to be up to date, see where you're at and reasoning behind your reads before having a discussion with you is the best way to go; the sooner you can do that the better.

I'm having some difficulty parsing the underlined part here and how it fits together? Quick rundown of how it all played out is that Gemma stated she thinks yourself & Fenwicked are not partners and that in Fenwicked!Town worlds you looked worse than Fenwicked!Scum ones; I disagreed and stated that I don't have you two as anti-aligned and pointed out a few things that I think make sense with you being scum in Fenwicked!Scum worlds. So uhh, how does that fit with a "If fenwicked is a miss he's finessing me into a no-live scenario"? If anything this is something you should be finding "Gross" in a world where Fenwicked is indeed a hit and I'm scum trying to link together a partner-townie to get a mslynch through, in a world where he's just outright a miss, what does taking that stance really accomplish as scum and how would it be gross?

Come out of the NH ISO more confused than I was when I went in?

There's a lot more reads/reasoning/stances/progressions town read wise then what I'd remember from reading the thread, treatment of Eido/Newcomb/Myself for instance runs fairly smoothly for the most part, the Tsaiah read -> Empoof vote type thing flows fairly well and some of the other reads Stanari/Jan fit too. But there's...not much depth or existence to scum reads there; it's the Kai read which is sort of semi-dropped/reduced in strength as it plays out, the Tsaiah one, the lack of a town read but not stated scum read one on me. But yeahhhhhhhhhh? He's just mostly there around, posting, but not doing a whole lot and I can see scum fitting that sort of mold, particularly in this playerlist so it's not great. Can also see him being scum in the world where Gemma was outright shot? Overall think I'm just going to wait on some answers on the above questions and get some more elaborated thoughts/reads before actually trying to get a better feel on the slot.

Wouldn't mind some others chiming in on it in the meantime too.

There was less reason for a acumteam containing you but not Beru/Kai to steer towards a Fen lynch ‘cos your lynch wasn’t as likely as one of theirs yesterday, but you’re a stronger scumread of mine independently.

 

Other things I want bring up are:

This chain of posts between me and citrus about beru (#1870 -> #1896 -> The 100 Mafia).

His reply to me seems to suggest that he expects some sort of reaction from beru from his naked nothingburger vote, but surely, surely citrus has to know that beru isn't going to do anything about such a weak line of play so now I'm here like why did this happen and why is it even a thing, because it doesn't make sense.
