Yeah noticed the lynch mechanic thing, feels weird. Not really sure how you're supposed to build wagons with that since it's hard enough getting villagers to agree on things as it is. Feels like wolves can just force lynches they want more, but obviously haven't seen it in action.

Would you mind showing me that VCA post? I really am interested in it, especially since fen was just a massive run away. Didn't think there would be much to gleam from it.

Okay I just read like 200 posts and these are the only two that really "stick out" to me. First probably because Newcomb just pointed it out, but it feels out of place in the thread. Not a lot going on wrt people talking about Newcomb at this time, Cirtus has Newcomb lower down on his list so I'd expect a post like that from him to be more engaging with the read and talking about how he disagreed rather than a skimming approval.

Second I don't like how Regfan handles this tsaiah read. There's no prodding tsaiah for more substance or more engagement, and it feels like something to stop people from townreading her early on. Way more wishy-washiness to be asking someone else for a read on them than solving the actual problem which is simplistic in just... asking tsaiah for her stances. Granted this could be a more OMGUS read from me, I have a tendency for that at times. I just don't like it.

Jan still feels good. Vaimes feels better than I remember but I'm getting a wave of "I'm town I'm town look at me I'm town" from reading their posts which is sort of graining on me.

So you know, I have a terrible history of town reading scum!Newcomb and getting burned by it to the point where I fear-dock him points in an effort to not get burned. Having a solid player with a super confident town!read is like sunscreen, really helps with my fear of being burned again.

That was the complete opposite impression I got from other people in the thread. Newcomb's an easy read, newcomb's scum game is lackluster etc.

What made you trust regfan enough at the time to not think it could have been a partner slapping a town read then?

Empoof the disconnect you’re seeing from Citris w/r/t me and my meta is that he is a regular but hasn’t played in like a year. In my first few games ever I burned him twice in a row but since then my village game has evolved and my town game has not.

Citrus hasn’t super been around for that nor would he really know much about me/Reg history since a good chunk of it takes place on other sites. Hence, why I’m squinting at his just accepting Reg’s read so easily.

 

I’m thinking about looking into a possible Nego/Citrus w/w connection.
