Anyway, I should actually read Vaimes' posts, but that's not going to happen at 1am.

Thoughts from yesterday are just telling me it's Eido because of the similarity I felt between his posts to Newcomb and the ones I found toward the end of Anni. That also needs a finer look.

I don't think full vig makes any sense at all from a balance standpoint, I was expecting ~2-shot even before the second shot. I guess it's possible she kept thinking she'd die and didn't want to leave the numbers on even vs. odd or something, but weird.

Votes are apparently locked, so gonna make use of the time. Will dive through Smiles' ISO and see if we're looking at a Hobbit situation again. Behavior over mechanics, etc.

 

I’m on the road for the next several hours and will probably want to sleep after that, and then GenCon starts after that, so I’m not too eager to drag this out.

Also if either of you has a reference for like, Vaimes town, that'd be good to look at. I like, loosely followed Sooh's game but I have that open as well.

 

Vaimes plays basically every game.

The Office, RWBY are two I know he was town in semi-recently.

I'm doing a slow re-read while taking care of some work.

I kind of have a sinking feeling that is hard to articulate, but I'll try to do it in a little bit.

 

I'm really not taking a systematic approach to this, huh.

I'm reading the day where we lynched the replacement hell slot again and the EoD bugs the hell out of me.

 

Whatever I'm gonna just say it, to explain to spec chat where I'm at and why I'm doing what I'm doing, if nothing else:

1.) I think I still think Vaimes is town here, which means it's Smiles and they roleblocked a fellow wolf as a wolf...with an info role almost certain to be alive.

2.) The problem is I don't think we ever actually win in this world, because Vaimes is going to vote me, and Wolf!Smiles will just hammer it (or vote first).

3.) That possibly means I need to just hope that it's actually Vaimes, and try to convince Smiles of that, despite...not really thinking it's actually Vaimes.

Still reading through and sorting thoughts, but that's kind of the headspace I'm in right now, where I really have trouble seeing Vaimes being a wolf, but like.

The mechanical clear is a thing I guess, and I'll just need to decide which is more likely to be the actual clear, Vaimes by meta/behavior or Smiles by mechanics/behavior.

I don't think either of you look fantastic interactions-wise with flipped wolves, which both helps and doesn't help.
