It's significantly fucking worse play than Fluff if you're actually town. So maybe, iunno, read through my ISO? Try and read my read progressions or thoughts on the game? The whole "Oh Regfan just agreed with Newcombs scum read on me and said lets jump on that" is completely ignoring the fact that I'd mentioned earlier that I've had problems with your posting here and have found you more reactionary and posting reads/thoughts in an inorganic way. Or notice that I've tried to talk to other people (Most notably Fonti/Eido) about you since I'm in a spot where I'm not 100% sure I can read you unbiased because I find you utterly frustratingly bad in some games, so hoping that if you're town here they'd be able to sell me on that or put forward something I can go "Yeah, that makes sense, I'll look elsewhere". I don't think anyone is content with it. I think people are waiting and hoping that it changes and I don't think anyone really feels like there's much to do about it. Getting annoyed at him isn't going to help anything and I don't think putting pressure on someone who is clearly struggling to perform as it is will do much good, personally. He's not a lynch candidate for me because I don't think it gives us anything to work with or pull reads from tomorrow even if he does flip scum, and the chance of that happening is 25%.

And, your read being based on things he hasn't done is kind of my point. It doesn't help me or anyone read you if your main scumread is someone who you can't even really talk about substantively because they have no content to analyze, and it doesn't give me a great deal of faith in your desire to solve the game if you don't think anyone who has actually posted has a greater than rand chance to be mafia.

Oh, I probably didn't answer that directly then. The bouncing is like a layer on top of it because it's the manner in which Kai has chosen to shitpost. I think that manner is scummy. I don't enjoy that he's shitposted so long through day 1, but if that's all my read was, I would moreso just want him to play the game.

I agree that getting annoyed at Miner or anyone else is perhaps understandable but certainly not the ideal way to handle that situation. I think Miner seems to be at least trying and genuinely frustrated regardless of alignment.

Actually, I have some ~thoughts~ on how thread has been treating Miner and Kai, but I'm not entirely sure what they are.

 

I’m really torn on Regfan. His WIM is really great and he seems to be genuinely very investigative but tonally I’m not as convinced. I’m not sure what’s normal tone for him though either.

 

No worries I doubt I get the traction to kill a dead slot today .. which means tomorrow will give the sub a chance which is either good because I am wrong or bad because I am right and they are a good enough player to live for a while.

I have a tendency to avoid players that seem like they could be town low hanging fruit — I’m usually torn between two perspectives 1) afraid to lynch them for that reason and 2) feeling like they need to be lynched to advance the POE
