Still laugh every time I read that post (I have it bookmarked).

Context that really makes it a gem is that yogsloth is like, a dude in his 40's, and Stanari is uh, not a dude and decidedly younger. Like, yogsloth is very much not the kind of person who'd make that post if he knew who he was actually talking to, which just makes it all the more hilarious.

I kind of remember him reacting in a funny way when he found out but that must have been in specchat or something because I can't find that quote.

There's nothing about Stanari in particular here. Someone posts a (fake) derp, I expect ppl to try to read into it. I saw no trace of proper consideration of the derp from Stanari.

It wasn't fake, but no one knew that so I expect ppl to at least consider it.

The idea is that's easier to get correct reads when you're not in the game interacting yourself. Keep an unbiased overview kind of thing. 'spectator chat' reads.
