Getting sliiiiiiightly worried about activity. Like I know we're barely into the Day, but I need people, especially subs and/or people whose slots were kinda UTR D1, to Do Things.

Looking at, off the top of my head, @Beruru @Citrus @Nothing Happens @Nego @KaiDASH. (empoof slot too but replacement, etc.) - push something. Take one player in this game and show in detail why you think we should all vote for them.

 

Not much but you claimed I was reading them as scum for it which definitely is a different thing.

Wrong choice of words on my part there but I read their ISO before EoD and didn't feel the lynch.

Plus I don't think anyone answered me when I asked questions about him.

It's been a busy day, sorry. I should have more time starting Sunday my time but I'll try to slip an ISO or two for tomorrow's to-do-list as well.

 

Nego, talk to me about the strength of your townread on me vs. Regfan vis-à-vis your being willing to sheep the general feeling of the thread, when a close reading of the thread reveals radically different treatments.

I.e. no one has seriously considered I'm a wolf this game ever. Whereas Reg has generated some villager reads, some paranoia, some actual pushes, and more than a few votes.

Like, it's really hard for me to accept this as a genuine thought of someone who doesn't already know that Reg and I are villagers and is instead somewhat punting on figuring us out but willing to believe others' reads, because comparing and giving us a similar treatment makes me think that Nego hasn't actually picked up on how the thread is actually treating the two of us.

I don't understand why you consider voting multiple people a scummy thing to do, especially in the context of Jan and Gemma's votes this game.

Nego, do you think you could nutshell your VCA post in a couple of lines for me? I'm struggling to read it and I think having some direction would help.

 

Not gonna lie, I still have you as my gut read from D1. I haven't read your ISO, and your posts have not pinged me apart from what I said on D1.

Regfan on the other hand is someone I suspected early D1 but got around to change my mind on as time went by.

I'm not really getting what you are getting at or talking about here. Explain it to me like I was five.

Might be just me being tired talking though.

It's not necessarely scummy but such indecisiveness makes me wary.

Not worth my time. Like I said before I went to sleep that night, I wasn't feeling the Kai lynch but didn't object to it either. I just didn't feel like voting there, especially since I didn't get any good reasoning from others.

Kai could definitely still be a wolf and I am expecting more from them toDay.

What the actual reasoning for the wagon was in the first place. But I might find that on my own once I start ISOing people.

I have a weird tone feeling about Nego's VCA post but I'm not sure what it is.

 

I don't think asking a question after the originap point was missed qualifies as "clinging."

I also don't think a lot of vote movement is a good measure of indecisiveness.

 

I think it's weirdly straddling the line between writing a post to sort out your own thoughts and writing a post to communicate with others but even as I look at it, I feel like I'm just sleep-addled? I dunno.

 

Corollary to this: why aren't people placing votes? I know D2 is as long as D1, but this is almost worse, because it's like starting a D1 off while skipping the RVS stage and not placing votes period.

Only reason I can think of is people want to vote replacements and are holding off to give them some time to catch up etc.? So place your vote on someone else meanwhile at least!

 

Might be around late tonight for a bit, but I'm feeling pretty wrecked and gonna nap for a while.

I like Nego's VCA post in terms of effort/crunching even though it's too convoluted to follow very easily. Kinda weird play from scum because it'd literally be a fake-huge-effort-and-try-to-hide-false/empty-info play vs. anything else.

This leaves:

Of this pool, I read the remaining players as something like (ordered) {Empoof/Tsaiah, Regfan, Fontisian, Nothing Happens, Beruru, Kai}

No four-member team clicks well from this group. Could be because we haven't had enough time in the game to be able to match a well-fit team up, could be because there's scum outside it. I'd wager it's more likely there's scum outside it.

If I were to shoot 3 players of that group with instant day-kills, I'd probably shoot Beruru, Kai, and NothingHappens > Regfan. I think there's guaranteed 1 scum in that set and likely 2 (depending on NH vs Regfan).

You know, I think if I took most of Kai's content posts in a vacuum I would town-read each one. On the other hand, with context of how low activity he is + the need to be prodded + how easy I feel it would be to fake that (with the low activity), I think I have an inherent bias to scum-read him right now (which matches my typical inherent bias to read players early on based off activity).

I'm starting to hit the point where I think there's a deep undercover scum somewhere in my town-reads who's also a consensus town-read. This is a feeling strongly amplified by the fact that fenwicked!slot flipped town
