I would love to see a real story where Harry is sorted into Huffelpuff. (Without being a parody)
I know the idea is scorned here, but there is good story's of Harry being in every other house.

 

I don't suppose a decently done DivinationExpert!Harry fic has been done yet...(or I haven't found it) but I guess it is similar to the time travel fics that go on.

I'm thinking that it could be written for the lulz to Hermione at the very least.

 

The couple Huffelpuff Harry's I have seen suck. Harry's a major pussy and is completely pussy whipped over some stupid bitch.

 

More Ravenclaw!Harry fics, or fics where he's apprenticed to Flitwick. Flitwick is such an underused character in fanfics.

edit: It's probably been done, but I'd like to see a good Enchanter!Harry fic. A fic where he isn't necessarily a good dueler, but he can create powerful magical items and goes into battle geared out Diablo/MMO style. It would be hard to do, and the author would have to be creative to avoid treading on cliches and dumb plots, but I'd like to see it done.

For a good crossover.....I think that Harry Potter and Code Geass would make a bad ass crossover.

 

I'd like to see a non-emo World of Darkness crossover. Werewolf is probably hopeless. Vampire'd be the easiest thing in the world to cross, just de-emo it first. Wraith would need some work but wouldn't be too difficult. You could probably even cross it with Mage: the Ascension. Just replace Hedge Magic with wand magic and maybe tone it down a bit in power (So that paradox-laden True Magick is worthy of the name).

OWOD Changeling was shit in a bag, so I'm not gonna go into it. The Dark Ages version might work, though.

A fic in which Harry is more Potter, P.I. and less Robocop would also be cool.

I'd love to see a Harry that takes the place of Arthur in Garth Nix's Keys to the Kngdom series. Citizens are hawt, the keys are rather too off-puttingly omnipotent but a good author can handle it... and a Harry as Heir to the Architect fighting against a Voldemort/Morrow Days alliance has epic potential.

 

Be nice to see a fic where Harry asks Tonks to see her 'real' self, and instead of boohooing about how most guys only want her to be someone else, she calls him a putz for not taking advantage of her abilities.

Yes. There needs to be more good Harry/Tonks stories. Summer of Change is the best one which is probably the consensus, but there have been fics where it hasn't been done well at all and are cliched out the ass.

After SoC, it seems like every other Harry/Tonks fic has Tonks coming up to Harry's room the summer after OoTP and fucking his brains out. I'm not against Harry/Tonks monkey love by any means, but some of these fics are just blatant copies of each other with little originality, tons of cliches, and bad writing.

I'm pro Harry/Fleur, Harry/Tonks, Harry/Daphne, and Harry/other slytherin girls, patils, so I'm always on the lookout for new stories with these pairings. I would have to say though that I do like Harry/Tonks the most. DH didn't happen to me. There's no way that pussy ass werewolf could bag Tonks.

 

That does have epic potential. If it were done well enough it'd be something worth reading. This is the series where I think, in the first book, the kid gets a long metal key sharpened to a point shoved through his lung and out his back, isn't it? I remember feeling a little underwhelmed until then.
