OK I'll be the first to admit Nurse Fleur isn't original. Hell it isn't even creative. But what's with the massive amounts of hate for it on every HP website? Is there some Hospital of Horrors Nurse Fleur fic I've never had the pleasure of reading?

 

Actually, I've NEVER read a Nurse!Fleur fic. The first time I've even heard of it is in this thread.

 

I've never read a story that has Fleur actually as a nurse as in doing any healing or even wearing a skimpy white uniform. Rather, loads of stories have Fleur just appearing at Hogwarts so that they can write H/F, and the reasoning is always that she is a healer in training at Hogwarts.

 

Yeah, she's never really a nurse; crappy fic's just use that as a way of getting her to Hogwart's.

 

I had to end task my Firefox and restart from a previous session. I tend to keep up 4 windows with about 50 tabs, so session saver is my friend when shit like this happens.

Lots of fanfics, news sites, and a variety of forums. It saves me the trouble of typing in the address any time I want to check something out, so I just keep the websites up at all times.

Doctor, the real question is why is it you seem to have such a repertoire of absolutely craptastic fics? I'm sincerely curious as to how one even comes across a Ron/Fleur fic, even by accident...though I suppose in fact that is the only way to do it.

 

I've definitely seen nurse!Fleur before. Mostly, Harry gets his ass kicked during the Summer and when he wakes up, there's Fleur attending to him because she's in training under Poppy.

If you scroll through enugh fics, one or seventeen really bad fics tend to stick in your mind. Example, I once read a Hagrid/Narcissa.
