Well, here's my revised Chapter one. Its not too long, but I hope to increase my chapter sizes as summer approaches, and my evil school teachers give me less and less homework. Hopefully you'll enjoy my story, but if not, constructive critism is helpful.

Roughly 1800 words, i'll wait a couple of chapters before i judge it however it's a good start.

Update planned hopefully for monday, but graduation parties for friends, exams, and SAT IIs are getting in the way. Thankfully its memorial day on monday, so I should have a decent amount of time to finish the work I have on the second chapter (which will be a bit different than the original chapter 2 here on DLP).

Very good installment, this is turning into a great independent!Harry story. The only words of advice that I have for you is to keep the same pace that you have at the moment...don't make Harry understand this whole book in one week, turn into uber-badass #363859 the next week and get married with kids at 16. (Not that you would do any of that, I was just ranting a bit, it felt good ) Right now, the pace you have set, and Harry's gradual plan, seems perfect, and if you can stick to that plan, then this story will get up there with the best.

 

Brilliant Story, you just need Length.

And after reading the second post, the story looks like it's going to do what might soon be impossible for it! Get even better!
