200K words and nothing interesting has really happened IS indeed a bit much. I guess the author wants to try to stick to as close to canon as possible

The story is written well updates are few and far between.

 

I classify this story with Wishweaver's and even DracoNunquamDormiens. Well written and very interesting. But too many OC's for me to give two shits about any of them. And oh dear god, there's hundreds of thousands of words and we're like a week into the bloody summer. Which means, JK will have book 7 done years before these ever actually get further enough along to make me want to read them.

This is, though, one of the best and first ridiculously over-the-top super!Harry stories out there. For the old "chosen" magus theme, I liked skittles333's abandoned effort more. Course this story tries to get everyone involved and everyone gets a super power. Redeemed!Draco turned friend of Harry's makes the bile build-up in my throat. I can stomach redeemed!Draco, but he and Harry should still agree to hate each other. It's necessary. And if memory serves, this story makes Snivellus more powerful than Dumbledore? Seriously? Do we really need to appeal to the teenage girls still stuffing their bras that much? I enjoy long fics, but there is a line for me where it's just uninteresting how much detail everyone gets. And Harry Magus just snapped his fingers and turned that line into a little bird as he continued on for another hundred chapters or so.

 

Yep, he made Severus a victim of power suppression or some other sort of bs, so good old Sev gets to fill in as Harry's mentor.

The argument the author keeps bringing up of how strong Harry is, and how he'll be insane strong if he doesn't burn out his power is weak. Hell he's already had him do so much in this story, along with Harry now having SUPERFRIENDS!, that he could whack Voldie without every trying.

 

Ya this fic gets old

This story moves waaaay too slowly, I'm through 44 (!!!) chapters of the thing and it's covered a bit more than a week (WTF) in the life. Also, the "Inner Circle" is way to big, I don't care if Harry's a "Soul Reader," the Inner Circle is his entire circle, and is comprised mainly of A) people he doesn't know or B) people who have made his life shit in fanon (Snape, Malfoy). Thats another thing, wtf is this "Malfoy's on the light side" stuff? The only way Harry and Malfoy should be on the same side is if its a fic where Harry joins Voldemort for some reason. And even then, they shouldn't like each other. Agg enough ranting. I suppose it is well-written, from a stylistic/grammatical standpoint, waaaaay too many fics out there writen l ike tihs w/ horibel speeling and im abbreviations and no DeScRiPtIoN and way 2 mnay "nads" o oops i meant "ands."

 

Hehe I like the Pokemon battle. Brings humour to my otherwise dull life. Anyways, I have refrained myself from reading past the first chapter of this fic. I kept on hearing things about how it's very good but yet, I did not read it. Now I see the posts about the inner circle and SUPERFRIENDS and I'm thankful that I didn't read it.

 

TO be fair, if the guy scrapped giving every damned person who will ever have contact with Harry super powers, and sped the pace up dramatically, it'd be a great fic.

The magus bit I like, him having to hold back SOME while he trains to use his powers I like (note I said SOME and not forever) and I like the Quadralis stuff. The rest of it's just filler for no real reason. Harry + alot of power = expected. Ron/Hermione/Draco/some random bird who flew close to Harry one day + Super power = effing stupid.

It's worth a read once through, and then forgetting about, but I look at this with sadness, as there's so much lost potential.

Also he needs to loose the part with when a circle member (which is indeed way too damned big) dies he, and everyone, gets knocked out of commision.

Err.. Um... Ughh. I never liked this story. He powers harry up to the point of being GOD and doing absolutely shit. I enjoyed the first five chapters but when he appeared to the weasley's in a different form, ugh... Superfriends concept is so annoying and granting most if not everybody who comes into contact with him superpowers is also ugh... I gave up on this fic a long time ago.

 

they just updated this story on the 8th if anyone wants to check it out . Chapter is a little slow. Hopefully story will get better

I came to one onclusion: he's extra, ultra, giga, mega, super handsome, powerful, smart etc.

Basicly, he's a magus.

I liked this fic when he was super!Harry, but then he became
almighty!Harry and I don't like it that much anymore. The part that really annoyed me is the one with the wolfs several chapters ago. :shudders: there's only so much I can take. Luckily, it didn't last that long.
And then, there are Snape and Malfoy...and I generally don't like them.

:sighs: Oh well...

 

When I first read this,I thought oh shit this is gonna be one awesome story,but now when I look at it,I just say get the fuck off my computer screen,really Draco as Harry's friend,Get the fuck out of here.And Snivellus stronger then Dumbles,dumb idea.
