Yep, I've gotten 28530 hits, like 40 c2 groups, 200 favorite lists, and then like 140ish story alertes, but I'm only pushing 172 reviews. Granted I usually don't review a story I read, or when I do, I review when I hit the last chapter, instead of each chapter.

I've actually gotten a few emails about that story now that I check the email I had attached to ff.net. I guess I'll let it go, but considering all the ways to describe that, to pick an indentical way isn't likely.

But then again, the-dreamer4 should be much, much more pissed off about it.

 

33 hits per review is not an uncommonly low average. My most recent chapter of Prince of Darkness is circa 4500 hits with 64 reviews, which comes out to over 50 hits per review. Here are my stats, just because we're apparently listing them.

I concur and would like to suggest a extreme high pressure water pump up her twat. The extreme fine tip ones shoot water out so fast it cuts cleaner then razor blades, or lasers

There are FAR worse ones I've seen.

 

from what I understand the number of hits does not equal the number of times your story has been read. When a story shows up in search- it gets 'hit', so that might explain the discrepancy. plus, it'll count as a 'hit' when someone comes back to read it, but one's allowed only one signed review per chapter.

oh, I just have to share it, I don't know about you, but that one sentence truly shocked me in a wrong, wrong way [and, yes, I know it is mispelled, but the author is supposedly using two betas, which remain unnamed, so I ask - how the hell did it went unnoticed?!].
