I loled. At the story and at the review.

Story quotes:

[A random Voldemort scene indicating that Lupin is a Death Eater, followed by:]

Woah. Either Harry or Voldemort are living on another planet. And why does he wake with a freight? Ah, I see. Dobby didn't arrive yet to take over the cargo.

The story apparently ignores OotP and Harry is shaken by a headline in the Daily Prophet:

SIRIUS BLACK WAS MURDERED AFTER PROVEN INNOCENT BY DUMBLEDOR. FULL DETAILS OF TESTIMONY ON PG 2-30.​

At once he writes a letter to Remus Lupin:

Dear lupin,

I have just had the weirdest dream. I had a dream that you were a death eater. I know it sounds funny and stupid but I mean the dream felt so very real.

Please write back ASAP. Did u also see the daily prophet please tell me this is a joke of some sort. If it is it isn’t very funny. Or a lie of Dumbledore in order to protect Sirius.

This letter is indeed most realistic, as we all know that wizards stop learning how to read and write with entering Hogwarts at age 11 .

Chapter three continues with the usual Indy!Harry clichés (Gringotts, Sirius' will, etc.). With chapter three the author also proves he is quite adept at writing present-day dialogue. Though there is the occasional problem with the quite complex question where to place quotation marks.

“What are you guys doing here”

“Wotcher harry” replied tonks

“How have u been she asked.” “I’ve been better replied” harry

“Are you ready to leave the appointment is in 30 minutes we don’t want to be late. Have u packed all your things. We forgot to mention that you won’t be coming back for the rest of the summer. You have been invited to stay at the weasley, which Dumbledore thinks is best.”

“Well I think ill leave my things here until after the meeting. I’m not sure I want to stay at the weasly’s house this summer.” Replied harry

Are you sure harry asked tonks.

Altogether a typical Indy!Harry written by a 10 year old fanboy for 10 year old fanboys. Enjoy.
