Yes, I know it includes Ginny, and I'm so, so sorry. But if you can look past that fact, you might find it's only half as crappy as the word 'Ginny' implies.

Yeah, I read this a while back. Like all Rosswrock's stories (well... both of them), the plot is developing painfully slowly. But writing style, descriptions and overall setting are pretty good. In the end, this is still one of several HP smut pieces that I ever liked.

It got updated recently on RossWrock's yahoo group.

About the story: Basically, Harry is accidently trapped in the girl's dorm and they are having some kind of drinking party. Everyone eventually gets drunk, and Harry gets laid... (Not yet exactly but he did get a blowjob from parvati and lavender)

There is little to no plot for this, ip82, because it's pure smut. The point of this fic is that Harry gets lucky for one night... but he gets obliviated in the morning.

It's good read. Go for it.

 

I was talking more about overwhelming number of descriptions that's bogging the story's flow, then some elaborate plot.

 

Yeah but that's what makes smut stories good, lengthly descriptions.

It's the difference between:

Harry fucked her in the ass

and

Harry squeezed her right bottom, and he mounted her doggy style while....

You get the idea.

But yeah, Rosswrock does use a bit too much description.

Skim reading is wonderful.

 

Well yeah ... that fic needs a fast-forward button ... like you use it for those smut videos where the protagonists spend hours to undress instead of shredding their clothing in one go.

The new chapter moved on to blow jobs.

 

Rosswrock and Ginny. Reason enough to avoid this.

I dont read Rosswrock as a general rule.

 

I can understand if you have something like college, bad hours at a job, family situations, etc that get in the way of writing. Believe me, I know - college is hell and it gets in the way of me having any kind of life at all. But Rosswrock has been too consistent about not updating or fuck, even saying anything online about whats going on for me to give him any slack at all. I was a member of his group, but I left because, quite frankly, I have better things to do with my free time.

As for the story, I've read better and I've read worse: 2.5/5

The smut was decent enough, but it was just drawn out and exhausting. 8 chapters just to get Harry to a 'blowjob' point is tedious. Granted some of the chapters are only 5k or less, it still gets to a point where you just can't help but go 'Come on!'.

Not to mention that each one of the girls are complete OOC sluts, and Harry is WAY to comfortable being naked and frisky with an equally naked and frisky girl with virtually no experience under his belt. I don't care HOW much alcohol he's had to drink.

I'm pretty sure that he said that he is in the military so thats why he doesn't update very often or even communicate very much...

But yea, it does get boring very quick...

not great, bin it i think, def not worthy of the NC-17 section. Taking a literal age to develop and its not great when it does, with the slow update rates it just makes it rather pish. 2/5.

 

There's a lack of good stuff in the Restricte Section, and to be honest, this isn't bad, it's just not so great. Just stick it in there...there are only that many smut fics that are even worth reading, and certainly falls into that. It isn't a great fic at all, but it's better than most :/
