This is actually one of my favourite authors, I actually think I got the link from here a long way back. This story definitely deserves full marks, at least if one can look past Harry's more wimpy moments.

 

One of the few really well done HP/LotR crosses. And it has the added benifit of not attempting to accheive fangirl orgasm by pairing Harry with Legolas. (shakes head, I know we're terribly disappointed) Even the method of taking Harry to Middle Earth was inventive. I will say that Harry started out as somewhat 'weak' Harry, but I think the proof of this fic is that his character has grown during this venture. After reading this I found myself looking for other potential HP/LotR crosses, and was met with much disappointment.

I started reading this a long time ago then stopped when I saw how pathetic harry was, but I think I'll give it another go as you lot say he gets better.

 

He gets better. The first 5 or so chapters gets a 3/5. Thankfully, the rating continued to increase. Especially since Harry is realizing that he's all by himself with no help from his world.

It's at a 4/5 for me right now.

 

I agree that it would kick so many different types of ass if Harry turned into a Nazgul. However, I think that he will end up as one of those huge eagels, and even if he did turn into a Fell Beast he would be way to much of a wimp to transform, even after the talk he had with Gandalf.

I can't say I cared for the last chapter, as it seemed to lack the quality that the other chapters have.

Also, does anyone understand what the author was getting at with the whole gift for Ron thing?

All in all a 5/5 for being an awesome crossover.
