If anyone was put off by the first few episodes, it is getting better each episode now. They seem to have taken on viewer feedback. Liz is still the biggest problem... but it seems to changing... slowly.

 

Jesus, Liz gets worse with every episode...

 

I dont mind so much as she at least gets more personality. Her reaction to having to sleep with her spy/husband was nice.

 

I'm hating her ability as an FBI agent. She gets wrecked all the time, why is she even in the field? She's a profiler.

 

Because Reddington wants it.

I always figured that Red was her father, but now I'm wondering if it's Berlin. Seems a bit farfetched, but I could see Red or someone he's associated with sending fake body parts to someone to break them. Or Red intercepted the girl and organized fake parts to be sent without the knowledge of whoever ordered it... Just a thought.

 

Or he ordered it, cuz you know thats totally something Red would do.

Im gathering those burn marks imply he was the one who saved her.

 

I said stretch, so my theory was he was ordered to do something heinous to that girl - or knew of it - and intercepted.

he then dropped her off at a friend's to raise.

Someone found out - original hit man? And ordered her killed.

He saved her again.

It is pretty clear that Red was the one that saved Lizzie from the burning house. He was disgusted that he had to lie to her when he agreed her father was the one who saved her. I think her father and Red were good friends but then that night something happened and her father went "evil" and Red had to go on the run.

 

Red being the the Father is to obvious. Also he said he would nevr lie to her, and I believe thar because it makes the story more awesome... so long as he doesnt hand wave it away going stat wars and saying "The man who was your father did die... consumed by Red Reddington".

 

Season 2 opener was good imo.

Honestly, Keane is so inept I can only assume it's for a reason - it's maddening. That new chick is badass though (hot too).

 

Im just going under the assumption shes only been an agent for 1 season, her first day was the first episode. Id be more annoyed if she was a super agent.

 

She was in the FBI before joining the taskforce. There's no way they'd give her a gun, let alone go in the field if she wasn't qualified.

Besides, there are more options than Jack Bauer and whatever she is now.

 

She had literally just graduated from Quantico. The taskforce was her first assignment. They put her in the field because Reddington wants her there.

There are some internal inconsistencies but this is what the canon 'facts' are. Of course, sometimes it seems like the writers just ignore what they already established.
