Ohhhh, a Science vs. Magic debate, how original

Barring a long, drawn out debate with Taure on IRC, I won't get into this much, except to say that I categorically refuse to believe that magic is not a part of science. This may, of course, have something to do with me being a physicist, but the point stands that I feel that magic can be understood and even manipulated by Muggles.

I'm also of the opinion that the wizarding world would be absolutely crushed by Muggles... if they knew about it. There's a reason the Statue of Secrecy exists.

    Anyway...

/me throws down the gauntlet and awaits Taure

    1. Taure is currently banned and in no position to engage in this debate.

    2. This debate is fucking retarded. I hate to break it to you, but MAGIC ISN'T REAL. It would be more useful to debate how many snorkacks Luna can stuff up her ass.

    3. This debate is taking place in a necroed-thread for a story that was abandoned years ago.

The story has been plagiarized on ff.net. Just thought Quazi Joe would like to know.

    Thank you for informing me.

I've decided to let him write his take on the story. Whatever he writes will be considered his and seperate from my work.

Quazi-Joe has been a little busy these past few months. Story has been updated.

Unlike most, I didn't mind the magical suppression and the 7800, considering he did a few things with them. My problem were the wings, wandless magic, and the Order being a huge organization. There are characterization problems apparent, some just seem cliched and two-dimensional. Harry has some depth, thankfully.

I kind of like Quazi's lighthearted tone for much of it. It seems to work, and makes some of the bad romance bearable.

The writing isn't the best, but it's readable. Going from good to mediocre. There were some mistakes, not enough for me to drop it.

As a whole I want to give this a 2/5, it being something to waste time on, but I can't, because hidden among the leaves are little gems that yearn for to grant this a 3/5. Example...the gummi bears.

Side Note: Quazi....the latest chapters are some of the sloppiest and laziest writing I have seen in a long time. The romance was just....achingly cliched. The horror aspect was decent, I was kind of horrified, sort of, but the way he escaped and saved Luna....

    Those chapters I give a 0/5.

Though I can guess I can understand since, I think you want to start with something fresher, thus the rush to the sequel. I wouldn't have done that, but you put a lot of time into that baby. My advice. Don't expect people to read those last chapters and put a little synopsis at the beginning of your next fic.

Fare enough. I am the first person to say I hate my new material.
I kind of forgot how to write.

Thats why I haven't uploaded the sequal yet.
I'm not happy with the start.
