Title - The Burden of Choice
    Author - Touchstone
    Rating - M
Pairings - Theodore Nott/(F) Blaize Zabini
Summary - A true Slytherin knows when to act, and when to stay silent. Like a snake, Slytherins wait for the right time—the opportune moment, so to speak—to strike, and take what is rightfully theirs. All of his life, Theodore Nott has kept his talents a secret, waiting for his time to rise. But when his father is cast into Azkaban along with the other Death Eaters, he finds that he can wait no longer.

Voldemort is a wimp. Drako is a pansy. Nott is a Slytherin. 'Nuff Said.

Hrmm... I rarely read stories outside of being Harry-centric so I dunno if i'll ever read this or not.

Same here. If Harry's not the main focus, I'm not interested.

The interesting thing about this story, while it's not about Harry, it's the sort of thing you'd see in any done well Independent Harry stuff - a cuttingly intelligent character with rapier wit and powers that he's not afraid to use if it gets messy. I read it again the other day, and it's one I think that most Independent Harry fics could stand to learn a thing or two, sheerly for convincingness of character in Nott.
