    Does anyone watch this?

It airs on Monday on FOX. There are only 9 episodes for now and its ratings put it on the cancellation list, but I recommend you to check it out. Maybe you can save it. :)

It’s pretty much a standard cop series but it has compelling characters, good writing and a very fascinating setting.

There’s the usual “crime of the week” in each episode but it always ties very well with the theme of the series, which is the corruption in the city, police department and politics of Chicago.

The story is told from many different points of view, one of which is the “villain’s” (I LOVE HIM), and it has refreshing sub plots that don’t involve dragged-on sexual tension between the two main characters. Frankly, I’m tired of that.

What else to say? Tim Minear, executive producer and writer for Firefly, Angel, Drive and Wonderfalls among other things, is ex. producer in this as well. He’s very well known in the Whedonverse for developing very dark storylines and arcs. The creator of the series is Shawn Ryan who wrote for Angel and created The Shield (never watched it) and Terriers (yet another GREAT cancelled series Tim Minear as well participated in).

It’s pretty good. Don’t let it die.

    Peace.

For those few of you who, like me, don't get all the "normal" channels easily you can check it out here at Fox's Official Site. They appear to have some full episodes up for watching, but I'm not sure if website hits are going to help ratings much. :(

I need to get my satellite or my antenna fixed, one, so I can get CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, and FOX sometime, but since I haven't done it in 6 years I guess I should stop telling myself that.

Looks like a good show -- I enjoy cop shows with good characterizations and am not attached to sexual tension as the primary source of sub-plots. I'll check it out sometime in the next month and report back with some impressions.

The Shield is one of the best things I've ever seen, so I'm tempted to catch up on 'The Chicago Code' for that reason alone.

    Aaaaaaaand cancelled.

    DLP, I'm disappoint. You fail.

The last two episodes, 12th and 13th, will air the next two Mondays. According to the creator, they will wrap up the series satisfactorily for the viewers.

DLP is not your personal army.

Nobody cares about yet another shitty cop show. We already have Cops, Law and Order(s), NCIS(s), CSI(s), Bones, Criminal Minds(s), Castle, The Closer, Detroit 1-8-7, Flashpoint, Hawaii Five-0, et fucking al.

Excuse me, sir, do you by chance have any sarcasm with you? I seem to have temporarily misplaced it.
