Err...he is Lord of Potter and Black. He is Head of House of the Crowen Family, but they don't have a lordship...they were just a small family. He IS Lord of Slytherin, but he can't go about telling people that. Only some families can know, and that too, under an oath of silence.

EDIT: Just to make it doubly clear, Potter is NOT the same as Gryffindor or anything. It's an entirely separate family.

Well...i thought i'd hand out an update soon

I'm almost done with it, and i'll probably send it out tomorrow morning to Zero. If cj_cold and IP82 don't mind helping, then i might be able to get some help from them too. I hope to have the update out in about 4-5 days at most.

I have to apologize...i promised quicker updates during the summer, and it didn't happen. I didn't even realize it had been a month until yesterday or so, when BlueMagicMarker mentioned something about having only two days left till he was supposed to update. So sorry, and i'll make things faster. Erm...i don't know if i can maintain these 9000 words+ chapters, so tentatively, i'll say that chapters from now on will be only about 7500 words or so.

Plus, i'm nearly grinning from ear to ear, as from the next chapter, shit starts getting into gear. This is the part that i wanted to write all along. Next chapter (Chapter 7) should see the Maturation happening, as well as the start of some magical theory and some political planning. And this chapter, Chapter 6, starts off the Harry/Tonks, too, so that's great as well...regardless of how hard certain parts are to write >_<

Awesome fic Yarrgh. I can't wait until the next update. That little piece with Tonks at the end of the fifth chapter was a nice tough .

 

Glad you've updated. I enjoyed the marriage neogtioations and the look into Voldemort's head. Though the Harry/Tonks part seemed kinda strange with her seducing him not exactly sure why though.

 

Excellent chapter. I really do like this story more with every update. Quite interesting to see the betrothal negotiations, as well as a great example of Dumbledore being outmanuevered without suddenly turning into a senile old codger. The characterization of Voldemort was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the insight into his thought processes and motives.

 

Great chapter. I like how Voldemort is written, how it shows that his mind was corrupted by not performing the cleansing rituals and for once so are snakes not as intelligent as humans. It was also great that harry disabled fawkes before he disappered so that he would not be found.

One thing that I think should be diffrent is Tonks seduction of harry after the betrothal to cho. Instead of Tonks waiting until after harry's betrothal so could she have done it before.

This story just gets better with each update.

 

Well, seeing how you already know my general objections, I'll just say that everything seems fine now, from Chang's characterisation, to Tonks'... methods. Few parts seemed a bit rough (the parts where you attached corrections to the original draft), but I doubt many ppl would notice.

So, great chapter in general. Strong EE / weak O.
