You skip right to The Code Breaker? If you read The Code first, you'll know that male bonding occurs only after relationship (NOT slash) more stable.

Looks like many people rejected this fic because it smell slash-y. Well, it's not going to be slash. I know better than to rec slash here.

Looks like this thread fails quite spectacularly ^^; My own fault for bringing new flavor for my first recs. I'll try better next time.

 

If it's not slash, you shouldn't have hinted that it was based on your parenthetical statement in the pairing:

LOL. Well, I kept mentioning NO SLASH was because, here in DLP, Draco is always followed by the word 'ponce'. Since I'm a fan of Draco, I tried to rectify it.

I actually remember reading this on the advice of someone a while back - and while my first reaction was 'Lol? Genius!Malfoy - kill the damn thing with fire,' it honestly wasn't that bad. I believe the writing was fairly good, and they did a semi-decent job of passing off Malfoy's intellect, and how he hid it in the prior years.

While I (obviously) know that this isn't something the majority of DLP'ers would like - if you're bored, and can keep an open mind about non Harry-centric fics, give it a shot.

-note- start with The Code, not with the sequel.

-notex2- I don't think more than a chapter or two was written in the sequel when I read it, so if it turns into a buttsecksing pile of steaming goat shit...mah bad.

 

I was bored, but not very intrigued, so I decided to try the first chapter and the writing style is semi-decent. The storyline on the other hand...Not interesting, not very realistic,and even better...Ginger/Ferret man-loving irritates me.
