How much money would you pay to be able to use a single spell in real life? I'm talking maximum budget here.

I think I'd easily pay upwards of $5,000 for a spell like Wingardium Leviosa.
I might sink my life savings into a transfiguration spell.

    SPS!

Is it a one-time use, or can we use it for the rest of our lives?

I was thinking you could use it for the rest of your life, but how much would you pay for a one time use spell?

I think a certain spell at the right time is priceless. Like, if a car fell on your kid, you'd spend anything for a one-time levitation charm. Honestly, if I could only ever buy one spell to use one time, I'd wait until I was in a life-or-death situation to buy it, and then would probably shell out every dollar I had.

I'd pay my life savings for a spell that let me get revenge on people that cut in front of me when I'm driving and I have to swerve to avoid.

This thread has an easy answer: Apparition. I would gladly pay almost any price to be able to teleport to anywhere I want at will, and bring people and things with me just makes it even sweeter. Even if it was the fanon version where you have to have been there before to Apparate, I'd still gladly empty my bank account for it.

I would put down my entire net worth for the power to teleport at will.

You wouldn't pay $0 for teleportation?

OP should allocate different prices to different spells (depending on desirability), give each person a set budget and make us decide how we'd spend it.

I wouldn't blow my entire account on teleportation, but I'd definitely spend more than is wise. In the interests of something more individual...man, I'm really trying to think of something cool or interesting, but honestly the only thing coming to mind is a cleaning spell. For which I would definitely blow a few grand on - time saved in effort and not feeling bad about letting housework slide for a while would be well worth it.

I would give anything I have for a one time Imperio, seems kind of like a cheat answer but would use it on a billionaire who is giving me all his money.

And would be neat to basically have a slave who would do anything I want, probably would get a bad conscience after a while but would still keep the money.

Apparition truly is the spell to buy, but for a one time use spell I would pay 5.000.

@Utsane can we also buy potions? I know which one(s) I'd like to buy.

Gotta agree with Kira and Light. Imperio is worth everything financial.

Be really easy to fix the world. Imperio trump out of office. Fix global warming. Etc.

If it was a one time spell, I’d go for a painting animation charm. Pay 250 to 300 for it. Spend a bit of money on a portrait of myself and there we go.

Avoiding the imperio which is the winning answer sadly, if it was a perpetual spell, I’d either go for the unbreakable charm or the Episkey spell that seems to heal various injuries and mundane illnesses. I’d give all my current money for either and then do my darnedest to monetise it.

Come on now. Apparition would really be the most convenient, but I think geminio would be pretty underrated too. All the riches without any of the criminality of having to use Imperio for it.
