Oh I've been looking forward to this scene and you delivered! Finally a fic where Harry doesn't go all weak-brained over his godfather. No, "Oh someone does love me" crap. Thank you Shezza, thank you so much.

 

Now that, was a perfect dialogue. Couldn't stop reading it honestly.

I agree with some of the others in that it was nice that Harry did not instantly jump at the idea of suddenly having a godfather. I do feel a bit sorry for Sirius here but in truth the argument was mostly his fault.

He is the one that started spouting about Lily/James despite knowing that they are complete strangers to Harry. The whole love-over-power thing was also quite foolish. It should have been obvious to anyone with a brain that Harry would favor power. Besides, unlike Sirius apparently believes, having power does not necessarily prevent friendship or love. Infact if the Potters had been more powerfull then maybe they could have defended themselves against Voldemort and their loves&friendships would have lasted longer.

I wonder if this is the only encounter between Sirius and Harry. Has Sirius given up on Harry or is he still going to try to form somekind of relationship. With a bit more sense and planning maybe? Also will we see the other surviving member of the group, Remus?

I dont really see any problems to nitpick about so I will just say that I found the chapter very nice. It was good to see what makes Harry tick. Still, hopefully Amanda will be able to mellow Harry down a tiny bit.

Looking forward to the final scene and the next chapter ofcourse.

 

Nice to finaly see a darker realist Harry that doesn't go around raping and killing everything.

On the story, you really surpass yourself. It really show that you are not only good at writing action filled story, there was the right amount of everything.

I wasn't expecting something so... sentimental. It's a nice change. Kinda twisted-sweet.

 

Shez, is this like a one off dialog chapter or are you changing your style permanently? I know you said you changed it so there was less description and it 'flowed' better, but now it was just a chapter with 90% dialog and 10% description/story.

Still though... fucking good work XD

 

I like the fact that Molly didn't coddle Harry, people always seem to write her as the overbearing type or else someone who involved in a plot to get Harry's money throught the Ginslut. This was good, Harry's comment about humbling Dumbledore was even better.

 

Eternal proof that Harry/Meciel are the way of the future, written into the starts, stones at Stonehenge, Khufu's pyramid, carved into Mount Olympus etc etc etc.

Joke aside, I was slightly worried Mollywobbles was going to offer sexual favours:

Hmmm nothing wrong with it but the dialogue kind of slowed it for me, anyways great job and I really look forward to a return to the action scenes. My only real big question here is whats a sook?

 

A sook is a wimp, a wuss, a namby-pamby little sissy, a milksop, ad infintum.

That was... sweet, with just a little crass humour to liven things up. Nice.

 

Meciel promised!? I wonder why she didn't use the pinky swear ~~ .Frankly that scene screams manipulation on Meciel's part.I can't help thinking that,whatever happens,Meciel remains a macchiavelian hellbitch.Still hot though.

 

So, I didn't get this scene. Was Molly offering herself for sex? Wut?

 

She was just being Molly: wanting to mother Harry and being stubborn and ignoring him when he rebuffs her. Shezza has done quite well to write her away from her fanon charactiture of blowing up at the smallest thing. Real mothers, like Molly is, know quite well how to deal with angry children and shouting back is not part of that.
