EDIT: Umbridge is going to try to use force on Amaris at some point in the story. There is no doubt about this, especially considering her actions towards students with the detentions she has given out before. Given Harry's bond, the fact that 'no one touches his brat', and Maeve's threat of extreme bodily harm to Harry should any harm befall Amaris, immediate action will have to occur. This is going to lead to a major shitstorm for Harry to have to deal with.

 

Ah I forget, but does Amaris have the same green eyes as Harry? If so, I'd love to see some Amaris/Snape interaction.

Amaris as Hermione's boggart is pure win.

 

I didn't see the point of the first scene. It felt like little more than an excuse to reference mpreg. The fight between the bone wyrms was not exciting or titanic. Harry and Meciel don't seem to have the same zest that their dialogue usually has. Harry feeling discomfitted by the impermanence of the purple-leaved tree species was both unusual and interesting. I liked it. Hey, was that a Stargate reference?

In the second scene, Amanda is notably missing. If you haven't got her elsewhere doing something, then perhaps she could be here. It was her face and reaction to the situation that I was looking for amongst the Gryffindor crowd, as I was reading. She trusts and respects Harry, but she is also very compassionate and wouldn't be comfortable with a child left to a sleep on the floor. Was she one of the faceless accusers?

Amaris insulting Hermione was perfect. Keep churning out lines like that for her!

I was surprised Ron had the balls to suddenly question Harry about Amaris heritage, though he must've felt braver with all of his mates and the rest of his House there with him. Ron's voicing of his prejudices and fears that she's half-werewolf is desperately retarded, and perfectly 'Ron'. Pehaps Griffindor House is not as scared of Harry as he would like to think.

Theory time:

In some fucked up, convoluted way, Amaris can become an animagus. Because she is a half-breed fae, her form can extend to something beyond normal human limitations.

Due to the effect of the Denarian coin during the process of impregnating Maeve, Amaris can become...! A bone wyrm.

Amaris transforms to help Harry. Because her DNA is different enough (since there's no bone wyrms left and Harry's form, being the intelligent bone wyrm he is, recognizes this), his form accepts it and they impregnate each other, having to spend 12 months in bone wyrm form in order to properly incubate their spawn.


NOW who wants to write some Harry/Amaris!
