Just because a chapter doesnt have "action" in it, doesnt make it "filler". Your interactions between Harry and Merciel seem more like character development than filler. Great job... cant wait to see more.

BTW: Are you going to be moving this to the story thread? I have that one bookmarked, and only found this by accident doing another search.

 

This has cut down on his reviews by like 1000%.

 

Yeah, but when you get fifty plus reviews saying 'I liked it, keep it up' or something of the like, it doesn't really matter. A lot of people are probably to lazy to take the time to go to another thread to post a review. The only reviews that are really important are the ones that help with grammar, spelling, and all that stuff.

On that note, I liked it. The Meciel/Harry interaction was amazing, as it always is, but I'm starting to get slightly sick of it. I know it's necessary, but it kind of just seems like a rehash of earlier chapters. I enjoy it, but it's starting to get boring. It's a good thing we're getting close to the action parts. They're more fun to read, and I'd imagine that they're more fun to write. Even still, this part kept me engaged. I didn't really skim over it like I do in most other stories with lots of filler.

I can't imagine Dumbledore letting Harry go on a vacation after this without raising a fuss about it. Should be interesting.

The main point of me posting up at DLP is to get 2 things:

- Spelling and grammar checks: We all know I suck at those and the story got 100% better after people here started telling me where I stuffed up.
- Plot inconsistencies: Cause I tend to miss a lot of them.

As long as I can get them for each chapter, I'm usually satisfied.
