Shezza, you continue to surprise me... Just when I think you're entirely action and lulz, you write a scene of tear-jerking character development. Kudos to you... There are a few minor grammatical errors, but I think everyone else has those covered pretty well.

 

Shezza, we do it because it's funny. Just casually refer to Shezza as a she and you've already converted several noobs into believing.

Great chapter, though, Harry's line "you never forget your first" feels weird to me. He'd forget his second or third but somehow Amaris is different? I guess it's just him trying to reason his feelings.

I wasn't expecting this, it's great to see Fae/Harry conflict. Maeve is definitely tricksy.

 

Why is Maeve so angry at the end? Is it a woman spurned?

 

The price seems fairly small, or is screwing someone over a Fae thing? I'm curious why he didn't also ask where Voldemort was, though I know he's not a priority at the moment. I wonder if her anger has anything to do with the conclusion to Denarian Knight.

 

I personally thought, that for saving Maeve's life Harry would have every right to demand to actually bring every single Denarian before him, one by one.

 

Ah, but then we'd have no conflict.

 

I have no problem with his price. His ultimate goal at the moment is the destruction of the Denarians.

 

I know and fully agree. What I'm saying is, for saving her life he could have asked for more.

Great to see Harry from another point of view. You had me concerned for a moment at first, but it turned out not to be aftermath of a successful ambush.

 

I laughed my ass off the whole way through. Now we see some of the side effects of a Word gone wrong. Epic.

Wow, learning a Word can cause Harry to behave like Obliviated-Lockheart? That bit with the vomit was nasty.

 

While not as interesting as the last chapter it was definitely entertaining.

 

Well, I finally found time to read the next few updates. Firstly, I loved chapter 11. That was just great.

And the follow up with that hilarious green goo stuff was even better. Looking forward to more, as usual.

 

What a perfect time for Luna to show up. A perfect opportunity missed! They would have had one heck of a conversation...

"Are you going to eat that?" made me laugh the most.

 

Well like you said, not much happened really, but it was entertaining and a nice break from the seriousness of the previous chapter. I also liked how you showed that learning the Word isn't just a secret route to some ultimate power, instead it is a discipline with serious consequences as well. Good start.

Yo guys. I'm moving fast these days, since the rest of the Chapter 12 is up in the Dresden WBA. A spell-check would be great. I'd also like some feedback on the characterisation of Dumbledore (he came off as a bit flat to me) and Amanda (she was a pain in the arse to write). I'll start the new chapter tomorrow if all goes to plan, since there's nothing else I can do on my holidays.

I suppose that's kinda sad.

Ah well. Amaris makes it all worth it
