Their souls would've gone to heaven/hell if he just killed them. According to DS canon, demons are only interested if the human they are about to kill is at the moment going to hell but has real chances of changing that.

As for the chapter, it was finally one I liked, although I'd like more detailed description on whether Harry let the Aurors live or not.

From my understanding, the sequence of words containing your name is irrelevant. It's only when you refer to yourself that you use all the proper nuances for it to be your Name.

Also, the vast majority (if not all) of the members of the Wizarding World would not understand the significance of a Name, and as such would not commit it to memory.

 

Could be, but I hold the opinion that Harry's Name is simply how he says "Harry James Potter." And so unless he intentionally misspelled something, he's fucked...

The stupidity of the Ministry is entertaining. They've seen Harry go toe to toe with Voldemort. They've seen him jack a Denarian that beat down their security forces. And yet they still put a warrant out for him and try to bring him in with a couple of crappy aurors. How.. completely consistent with canon, actually.

 

Huh. Reminds me; whatever happened to Shezza? I mean I noticed his lack of updates and all; but I haven't seen him in the forums either.

 

Well his profile thingy below his name when he posts says he's 21, which given he started University at/around 19, and is doing a 3 year course, he's in his final year.

The last update was about 5 weeks ago, which would have put him at week 8-9 out of 13 at a typical Australian university in his final year, plus exams after that. He was probably more involved in that that writing. [/rudimentary deduction]
