A new show aired on Sci Fi this Sunday, I was wondering if any of you had seen it?

It's called the Dresden Files (based on Jim Butcher's book series of the same title) and it's about a wizard named Harry in modern day.

 

I heard of it, and was going to watch it, but my satellite had technical issues or some such bs. Was it any good?

 

It was pretty good. Harry's as snarky and awesome as the books. And he doesn't care about using dark magic to get the means to an end. Love it.

 

Just saw the first episode. Nothing special but not to bad. Will follow the series and see how it turns out.

 

I was gonna watch it, but I forgot. I will be watching the next episode though. It looks really, really interesting.

 

Interesting. i read a little bit of the first book in chapters but i had to go then. It looks pretty interesting the way the wizard mingles with the regular people. I think i'm going to go watch it now and see how it is. Until then...

The episode's ok... but then again this is only the first episode so the series needs, like atleast one season to get into the swing of things.

Well, there wasn't much magic shown and somehow the whole thing reminds me of Buffy...and I can't say that I like Buffy. I guess the episode was OK though and considering that it was the first my judgement is a bit too hasty. In any case, it probably won't hurt to see where it goes from there on.

 

For those who have Sky one, the first show starts tonight at 9pm GMT.
