I really could not get into this Fic, then again, I did not like the Movie Fight Club either... oh well.

It is fairly well written though and an orginal idea.

Aurors being powerful is an entirely new idea...

Usually Aurors are shitty losers that drop their wands and panic, and can manage only "Reducto", "Stupefy", and "Protego".

Honestly, after three years of extensive training, Harry will, even after 3 months of constant studying, never be at their level, extreme power boost or not. They simply are trained hunters.

Remember, Aurors are rare, there are, maybe in the entire wizarding Britain, 50 of them.

Hit-Wizards are your average run of the mill law enforcement individuals. They aren't really trained to fight that much - just to catch robbers, etc. They have numbers and the law on their side.

I guess that is true, but JKR really screwed up naming them than.

Yes, but how good where the Aurors in the Department of Mysteries? They did nothing but get beaten 'till Dumbledore arrived. Tonks fell down some fucking stairs.

Maybe Tonks just became an Auror because she is an Metamorphmagus. But I agree with Amerision: Aurors should be powerful. At least somewhat equal to Inner Circle Members. To the story: The idea is original and the writing style OK too, but I don't like it. I personally think Harry shouldn't fight Muggle style. He should aim with his wand and cast the killing curse. But if you don't mind the Muggle fighting the story seems promising.

I figure 2-3 aurors can take down 1 inner circle member.

I like the Auror Manual... Just because the techniques are in there doesn't mean everyone in it will master them.

Think about it like this -- focusing magic is like firing a gun. You can train it up to a certain degree of accuracy, but some people have natural talent, and some people don't.

Just because the knowledge of the technique is there does not mean that they are all able to practice it. Otherwise, every Soldier would be a Green Beret.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter

Just to clear it up the fight club at Hogwarts will only be using magic. Harry is only fighting like a muggle because he can't use magic.

Great story!! The only thing I have a problem with is the entire thing about body magic. It would have been better if Harry had used accidental magic instinctively instead like Tom Riddle did. Also in my mind so are Auror's nothing more then magical cops, they are not soldiers. If body magic needed to be a part of the story then it would be better if some Unspeakable had given Harry the book, telling him that they were impressed that he fought off Voldemorts possession. Also he should have taken much longer in learning body magic... Other then that is it a great story.

I like the superpowered aurors idea. That means that you have to make an inner circle just as good or better than the aurors though.

OK. Now I'll keep reading it. I just thought that it would be just fighting muggle style all over the story. If it's with magic, I like the idea.

Yes, except no teachers and a lot more brutal.

Really I don't see how it can be more brutal and not get noticed. I mean with punches you can say you fell down or something so people won't be the wiser, but with magic you got things like slicing hexes and invisible swords being thrown out. I'll be surprised if Madame Pomfrey didn't suspect anything when a kid comes in missing an arm or with one less eye.

WOW that was good. Nice fresh idea. I really liked it. I really like the dark Harry fics but most start the same with him getting pissed at Dumbledore. This was a great new way to start out and explain his anger and why he is pissed. Please oh please update soon!!

I wait a few more chapters to give my opinion... but it seems like a nice plot.
