Frankly, if you mute your volume after hearing the awful narrator's fake raspy voice for the first time, the trailer stops being fucking terrible and looks vaguely interesting.

The narrator is truly godawful. Seriously.

 

I didn't think the narrator's voice was that bad.

He has a bit of a problem with using proper cadence for dramatic effect, but I didn't cringe too hard.

Voice aside, the teaser trailer wasn't very informative, and the animation feels lackluster, although that may just be the style the creators are using.

 

Unworthy even of mention. Typical FFnet shit, except in animated form like Xanatos said. It will be gay at best.

 

Agreed that the narrator failed hard. He completely screwed up any suspense, as he spoke completely off beat. As that was all the could have made the crappy animation worth it, the whole movie failed just as hard.

 

Eh. Voice was irritatingly and failed at creating suspense. But there's not enough information to determine if the story will be good or not. Likely will suck but bad animation =/= bad story. I'll give it a wary benefit of the doubt until something more appears.

 

Holy fuck, I love the part at the end: "Voldemort has been dead for 5 years! NOW ITS OUR TURN!". Srsly? Did anyone look at the script?

 

The plot has potential. Haven't ever seen anything about an organization founded by Voldemort. If someone picked it up, it could work.

 

Yoiks. The narration *is* somewhat cringe-worthy but the animation!?!?!!!! I almost burst out laughing with the sequences where everything was absolutely static ... except for the eyes sliding from side to side. Gah.

Their super!pride at being absolutely faithful to the canon 'down to the punctuation marks' rankled as well, given how much of a disaster their precious canon turned out to be.

 

Am I the only one who noticed the plot was about a Dark Wizards organization founded by Voldemort in the US ? Or a mysterious country that is abroad from the UK and where people speak English. Could be Australia, but it seems unlikely.

Which means this story will probably end up breaking one of the Potter Laws that really should never ever be broken.

 

Well, the fact that they speak English might be owed to the fact that the film is supposed to be English.
Although the people in the ranks look somewhat American...

I checked some of the other videos that were there. There was this one video about a muggleborn girl forced to marry a pure-blood and then trying to accept her situation. I stopped after that.

Somehow, I get the feeling that most fanfic videos are going to be on the shitty side of the spectrum.

 

Sure, but I'd kill to see the Denarian Trilogy in video. Sadly, My Immortal has a better chance of being adapted to a web series
