It took me a good two chapters of reading this to realize that I've actually read it before. I just don't remember a single thing about it

I never expected to see this shite up for review. I assume it's like...not complete ass? Because when I read it, it was complete ass.

I've refreshed myself on the story, and it is indeed complete ass. None of the characters really come off as believable (or all that likable), and the author doesn't know how to use page breaks so it jumps around a lot.

It is said the stepstones were created by magics, the green seers broke the arm of dorne to hold back the advance of the first men. Now i can not see Harry undoing this, but what about tunnels linking westeros and essos via the islands. Such a tunnel system could allow dorne to seize the whole archipelago by moving men directly onto the islands, avoiding the pirate held ports. While slow they could eventually control each island one by one.

I don't know how good of an idea that is.
Canals though, there is a great market for that in Westeros.

Does it comes with a miraculous animal to provoke a demographic boom?

I think I left this at the first Olenna scene. Nothing interesting until then, apart from the accidental magic moment. The not!James/Lily explanation didn't seem plausible to me. If the story gets better later, it could make a decent time waster.

There's only ONE ASOIAF/HP story worth remembering. All the others are simply Horrible or Stale to the point you choke on it. This is the latter. I'll admit I found it good for awhile. I still think it was the opiates messing with my reasoning...

We know Harry is planning on extending the local river near his lands, so what if he conspires with the martells to create similar river extensions and reservoirs to collect water. Done it the right locations could be useful in greening and reclaiming the desert.

I kind of love this fic.

It's confusing because it has all the hallmarks of something I wouldn't enjoy.

Harry is on the way to becoming super powered, wise and all knowing, perfectly understanding parental figures, side trip to a treasure horde, ancient magic being easy... It should all be rather off-putting.

For once though, it's nice to read a fic where not everything is a struggle. Things go nice and easily a lot of the time and it's fun to read.

Also I'm a big fan of scenarios where someone is essentially handed a ruin and they improve it to the point of viability.

I agree, so much is wrong with it, yet that doesn't prevent me from really enjoying it. Same goes with the authors other xover too, though too a lesser degree. The other fic is a lot rougher.

Sure he has magic, but still have to deal with nobility power games. The whole staying under the radar is important. It is not like Harry is going after the throne or seeking to rule the world. He wants his girl and a secure home to sustain themselves.
