This pair of seem to be half decent. While Hoshhikari's first mention on this site was via Tamper with time, which she had a nasty habit of using "..." to break up large blocks of text, she doesn't do this except at seemingly appropriate points in this fic.

The main selling point in my opinion is, unlike in most Dark!Harry or Evil!Harry fics I have read, someone, in this case Remus, tries to redeem Harry. The length he goes to is over the top but I still find it a good read.

3.5/5. Not perfect, but after rediscovering this fic while searching for anything that is remotely a half decent Dark Arts fic. Its major let down is how fast Harry turns Evil.

Warning for readers: These two fics top out at over 200,000 words grand total. So don't read this if you are looking for a short story.

 

Terrible first chapter, put me off reading the rest. I'm not reading Harry and Dumbledore, I'm reading two OCs in their skins. The dialogue was terrible too, extremely stilted, very "mouth of the author". Nor did it feel like a realistic turn of events.

Yet another author who wants to write hardarse "Dark Harry" without wanting to give any real depth to the descent to Darkness or story in general.

Read the first two chapters, and i did not like them. No I thought they were awful. This one gets 1/5 from me

 

Terrible dialogue, the rest was trash too. Couldn't get past the first chapter.

So I decided to give this the benefit of the doubt and read past the first chapter. The author simply decided to throw character development out the window and followed up the shitty prologue with an even shittier chapter.

1/5. Not even Recycle Bin worthy.

 

I really should have taken up this suggestion. Posting this here was probably a combination of three things. The lack of a a good Evil!Harry in ages, The unusual Harry Remus bit, and the memory of how good I found it though first time though.

Trust me, last time I post ANYTHING here based off memory of how good I thought it was.
