My impression so far has been that Proph is just that kind of player.

I'm in the same position WRT Fable on Kalas's claim. Eido normally hates backups and auto lynches them because they're probably scum, so I am not sure how he'd put a backup in his game. Maybe town, because he likes divvying up power level?

 

I've played a couple games with proph before. He is that kind of player. His insistence is what I don't like. That's why it feels fake. He mentioned it a few times.

I mean. I remember him making a "just a sec, let me check scumchat" post in the Reunion game. I don't recall him ever doing the thing where he implies he's town via "here's what to do when I die" type posts.

One thing that is a bit similar, and this is kind of a holistic thing, is the subtle shade at me. Like, in both the finale and the reunion we had these little exchanges and he'd kind of "light townread but feel you could be doing more" type stuff.

This is... shades of that. The "don't let Newcomb skate" thing, is a similar feeling. I can kind of differentiate them by him being run up relatively quickly here, like he's never not been under pressure, so there's a different vibe to it. Like, as a wolf that's a post he probably makes about me expecting to flip if not now than relatively quickly. So making it in the manner in which he did - no real shade, just "watch out for him" feels a little... I can't quite fit it to a wolf!GH agenda that I understand. It doesn't really tie me to him, it doesn't really look aggressively not w/w levels type thing.

My memory of the finale isn't as good. I don't recall him doing stuff like that offhand.

My question to you here is like. Okay, does that move the needle for you? Is this a peg you want to hang the read on?

I've been normally successful town reading people for such posts in the past (mostly newbies though). Plus, stuff like that normally comes from me when I'm town and see that people mislynching me is a foregone conclusion.

Let me check the Finals/Reunion game to see if he made any similar statements.
