I think Panther is prooooobably spewed clear at this point? Reading the thread up to 300 it seems like he's picked up All Of the Townreads; just numbers-wise a lot of those have to be coming from town (also likely some of them are wolves hopping on to an inevitable read / maybe eking out some towncred)

Plus, it's not like I don't see where people are coming from:

Those two quotes stuck out as particularly town; the first one in kind of a "he's trying to get inside that guy's head" way, and the second in a "I believe that excitement is genuine and I'm not sure he'd bother to fake that weird 'I have a plan' thing as mafia."

Also, I don't think Panther/Beck are ever w/w together. If Panther is somehow mafia, I don't think Beck can ever be mafia with him? The attention/detail Panther laid out with that initial read where he talked about Beck saying/not saying "bronana" or whatever, that's like - they'd pretty much have had to plan that, as a designed play, and, ehh. That strikes me as both too cheeseball and somehow too much work for them to play it that way.

So yeah, Panther 90% town, Beck never with him if he's mafia.

I don't reeeeeally have a read on Beck independent of Panther? Insofar as I can't recall anything he's done so far without going back to check. I skimmed his ISO from Game 5 last night (actually I looked at everyone on the playerlist except the last 5 because it was taking forever and I got lazy), and I feel like I've got a good handle on his baseline townplay and I have some markers I'm looking out for - though he was under a ton of pressure early in that game and isn't here, so that might be iffy.

Game 7 had literally 5+ people who were unreadable (for me) due to "derp or mafia". Can you, like, not.

So GH is just... town, right?

Thinking to go there, as a wolf, would really surprise me.

At the very least he's almost certainly not scum with the guy who posted his keyboard.

Lissa I could see as mafia; her posts lack any kind of bite or engagement. She's also calling herself out for these very things in a way that's consistent with the way she called herself out in Game 1, as mafia. OTOH, she faked town energy pretty well on D1 in that game, and here she's noticeably lacking - I'm asking myself basically if she's mafia here, wouldn't she be making more of an effort? That gets a little WIFOM-y, but at this point I think she's about a coin flip for me, which is a light scumread.

I need to re-read the middle section of the game and get a handle on Nego/Visor/the two Sun people (I'm already dreading how confusing this is going to get with double suns and people calling them greg and jim and $#@!). I'm going to grab some breakfast and then do that.

 

The question in question is "why is Vaimes so specific about wanting to know what alignment Stanari prefers", is it not?

I asked which alignment she prefers because she is clearly playing differently compared to her first game here, where she essentially did nothing, save for being very confused/indecisive, for literally the entire game.

It's been a while since then, and I never did understand whether the problem was playing on a new site or what, but I'm trying to decide if her being deliberately confusing is like. Alignment indicative.

I'm probably not going to have everything sorted out until n1 but Scott and Vira are probably my weak V reads for right now.

 

I'm 90-93% sure I haven't played with anyone else before so we can't use meta arguments to solve the game. Which is great because meta-based reads are pseudoscience and don't have a better than fully random chance of being correct in reality.
