just a short comment, reading still, on fable now.. disagree on the newcomb reasoning because newcomb himself specifically mentioned we shouldnt look at vira for spew. i think it was planned

He said we shouldn't look for partners if I remember correctly. Can still look for town spew. (I don't agree that we shouldn't be looking for partners either, but yeah.)

it's exactly this: "Assuming Vira flips red, I'd probably not put as much weight on her ISO for spew than I normally would,"

post 5861 i quote it in my newcomb iso.
    --- Post automerged ---
Also it does indeed look like both owner and vira are beginning to try and distance themselves as much as they can there for a bit, good catch fonti. Reading on.

Is that not followed by something along the lines of we could still look for town spew in the early to mid game?

Hey Vaimes, is Newcomb not in the PoE? For you personally maybe not, but threadwise?

"Assuming Vira flips red, I'd probably not put as much weight on her ISO for spew than I normally would, as this feels like an attempt to play "against type" here. Like, I kind of doubt that you're going to solidly nail a partner from her ISO, but you may be able to generate some pretty solid "definitely not a partner" reads from what people say about her in the early/midgame that it may end up not mattering."

that part is "what people say about HER" not from her spew. Newcomb only says "don't read vira".

On jari i'm pretty sure she's actively trying to make it seem like she's doing the same thing towards jari as others. It's not the same as with others.

    Looks worse for me tbh.

Hmm yes. Misread that then. Strange sentiment indeed to warn people of of rereading Vira with the intent to get reads from it.

Yeah. As for the general read, good post of fonti, very detailed and some good conclusions.

However, I seriously doubt Vira would go for the same aggro approach on all partners. I'm town, Jari's thing didn't feel the same so despite what you might think I don't change my townread on him. Newcomb didn't want us to read Vira and I find it very suspicious as well, and a sure newcomb is mafia, more so than before.

    Cuth... still 50/50.

Now I gotta go out with the kids, I'll be back later or by phone posting (computer is so much better).

    Random question.

How many town PRs should we be expecting here?

Hi Miner! How do you feel about the fact that your read on Newcomb is pretty similar to Cuth's?

Hi I got two hours of sleep last night.

As far as I can tell/guess, we're probably looking at around six.
