I've been staring at this for like five minutes, read it probably a dozen times.

Like, the situation is one of two things. We know Proph was town, we know Vira was mafia.

So this is either town!Scott just like, talking about a read with no knowledge of alignments, or this is wolf!Scott talking to someone who he knows is town, who's questioning him about a read he gave on his partner.

It's that second one I'd like to explore, and just like... see if it feels right. So you have him basically straight-up admitting that he made up part of his read - "I can't actually give a logical reason" - and slaps a kind of nonsensical "maybe it was a wolfbros thing" onto it to justify it. Then he throws some shade at his partner, immediately takes it back, and lands on null.

I can't shake the feeling that this is just such a fundamentally weird way to treat a partner. It's kind of the essence of TWTBAW, yeah? Like - how does wolf!Scott type those words and not go "oh wow holy shit this looks bad." There's a lack of self-awareness of how bad it looks, and would look upon flips.

Which really boils down to like - was Scott so new that he actually like... wouldn't even realize that as a wolf? This one post is a fairly decent example of like, Scott's whole "deal."

@owner Now would be an excellent time to do something that shows you're trying to solve the game, here. I'm probably the person in this game right now who's most receptive to townreading your slot, and looking over the Vira/Scott stuff.... like I said yesterday, I don't think this is a hill I want to die on.

I would be impressed if Scott was a wolf here, it being his... second? third? game after a long break from werewolf, but not floored.
