I do see your point, I think - the bulk of it is that Scott is making posts that look bad in a way that you think he'd be aware of, and therefore not post.

I think your expectations of novice wolves are a bit high. Like...I'm pretty sure I posted approximately like this in my first scumgame, despite being cripplingly self-aware. I don't think most people pick up the self-awareness to not make posts like that until they've played more.

I guess what I'm saying is that I think you're reading Scott a level too high, lol.

I'm...open to the possibility of him being town, I guess. I don't trust my linguistic scumreads further than I can throw them, but I don't think the things you're trying to townread him for are very solid - there's nothing where I Just Can't see wolf!Scott posting it.

At some point I might attempt to read him in Hannibal because I'm not 100% sure what level of nuance I'm working with here, but that feels like a lot of work for relatively minor gain.

Anyway, let me talk about that post. "Why are you scumreading my partner" feels like...a classic scum post? I don't think it's a chainsaw per se. (Unless in the sense of like, casting vague shade?) I'd maybe call it a super super super soft defense in the sense of soft defense where you thought I was soft defending you early.

Kind of how I was feeling about Cuth earlier - 113 red flip clears him, kind of just writing off pending that. Still think the way he kept repeatedly ramming into walls via copypasta bait was pretty villagery. EoD3 readslist was pretty ???? but that Vira defense was so ???? that I wonder if it can even come from wolf!Miner there. Jarizok's case didn't do much for me; I'll echo dya's thoughts that it felt like just a ton of confirmation bias. Like, yeah, a lot of those things are a potential narrative but I'm not seeing anything that makes it the most likely narrative.

In the world where 113 is town though he pretty much shoots up to "probably a wolf just by PoE" since non-113 worlds are feeling a little restrictive at this point to me. Unless I'm like, super whiffing on a townread?

Cuth I'm like... very slightly liking the way he didn't try to leverage his claim into anything. But his self-admitted disengagement makes this a really tough slot to townread. 113 his issues with me don't feel real, in the sense of his pokes and prods feeling stale - ignoring developing thread events, hammering the same things - and kind of lifeless, like there's been no real attempt to commit to the thing, just kind of felt like endless shade and no villagery drive in either direction. Especially considering how yesterday went - with Reg, Vaimes, fontisian, Stanari all going to bat for me in various ways, I'd expect a town 113 to do /something/ with that.

I mean, Miner/113 are not wolves together, so at least one town is slanking toDay.

What's your read on like, "okay, what are the wolves doing as a group" here? So D3 we get one in Vira, Reg vigs another one, there are either 3 or 4 left here. What's the plan? Like, in Owner/[one of Miner/113] worlds this is looking a little bizarre.

I can't imagine losing either Vira/Tsiah was a crippling blow, since like, Vira'd already gotten to shoot, and then essentially took a dive. And Tshiah wasn't exactly going deep.
