I could never get into this story for some reason. Even when Flame was writing it before hand. I should really try again because it is good.

Chapter was alright. I didn't like the voice in Harry's head due to all the dark arts, though.

It was okay. Something about the chapter to me seemed. . . off. Oh well, keep writing!

I'll tell you what was off about it, wrote the first three pages months ago, then a page every two weeks. then I then wrote 10 pages in a day. Therefore that made the chapter seem a bit jumpy to me. Glad you all liked the battle sequence, I'm tired of researching spell names  .

I always find it unrealistic when Harry uses excessive Dark Arts and it doesn't influence him or affect him at all. I think there must be a reason why normal people don't just go around casting them gleefully, it's because their affect on average wizards are immense (using my theory).

Either that or because they have no real use other than maiming and killing people. I don't necessarily disagree that the Dark Arts corrode the mind and soul, but I tend to think that they're not used in daily life because they have no use in daily life. That and they're illegal.

I'll agree and that DA seem like overkill in most instances. Presumably DA would drain more magic/energy where more efficient methods of dispatching an opponent would suffice.

Enjoyed the chapter, MS. I like he concept of double teaming Voldemort. Too many authors get stuck on the whole notion of a standard/honorable one-on-one duel even if they didn't intend it. Much more logical just to storm Voldie. The prophecy said nothing about possibly using other people as cannon fodder while Harry take him out while Voldie's distracted.

Heh, it always happens after a long period of no writing. Kind of like a punishment for me. On that note, I'll start writing the next chapter...

    Sorry didn't quite understand that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I made a mistake putting Tonks in the story and giving Honks fans false hope. I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to delete all the early scenes, I wanted to rush forward to get to my ideas. That's a mistake that's coming back to haunt me (I think the difference in quality between chapters 9-21 and 1-9 is pretty stark).

It was a good chapter, although I was a bit dissapointed that Beatrice wasn't in it. I'm starting to really like her character the more the story progresses. Hope the new chapter comes out soon.

Very good, I've been following this story since Egyptian Flame started it and then when he handed it over to you, and while I feel that you've been doing a pretty good job with it I still had to let out a scream of eternal pain and torture when you decided not to keep with the H/T pairing that Egyptian Flame was doing and killed her off, I had to stop reading that for like a week before I came back to it. I got a little bored with it when he was dating Georgina but it's picked up speed again now and I'm looking forward to some intensive action pretty soon. One last note, try and be careful not to get too wrapped up in sub-plots with secondary characters as that's what generally makes people lose interest in stories, try to have an established goal of where you're trying to go with this and make sure that everything somehow progresses the story in some way or another, too many stories get wrapped up in themselves and I think the author tends to forget what they originally set out to do with the story, try to write with purpose not just for the sake of writing more of the story to appease the fans. I'd gladly give up some of the update speed if it meant an increase in quality, just don't pull a Ruskbyte or we'd have to lynch you.

Excellent new chapter Master Slyth took you longer then the last few but hey better now then never. I personally enjoyed the confrontation with Dumbles after the...ass kicking Harry got, anyway you wrote it well because i felt on the verge of screaming abuse at the monitor. I'm hanging out for the next confrontation with Riddle and Harry...Oh yeh what happened to the riturals Harry was going to do?

Thanks for the reviews. I admit I got wrapped up in sub-plots but they're all pretty much over now. There's only the main plot left, it's the final strait. He doesn't do rituls but he trains A LOT, it's just that I don't want to bore myself or you lot with the details. I'm don't pull minute by minute blows of what Harry's doing like some authors. I just mention that he's been training in passing and get to the point. Voldemort's doing rituals, not Harry.

Good to hear, I'm glad that the story'll be getting back on track as it seemed to have meandering for awhile now, I look forward to any upcoming updates.
